I can't tell you what the fish is like here. I can't tell you what their burgers are like. I CAN tell you that they have the BEST Salt and Pepper Calamari I have ever eaten. The sole reason I can't comment on any of their other food is because I can't go there and NOT order the Calamari. It's just impossible not to have it.

The downsides are parking can be a bit of a pain (they're just down the road from the University) and their tables and chairs are a bit dodgy, but that is all forgotten once the calamari arrives.

Why are you still reading this and not driving there right now?!?

These guys are one of my go-to places for breakfast. Unlike a lot of places, they actually serve breakfast until 2pm, which suits me perfectly. A lot of times I'm in the mood for what I call "a roadhouse breakfast" and these guys fit that bill. The servings are generous, the prices reasonable, and the staff are always friendly.

The only downside is that they are in the food court of a shopping centre, but it is worth the effort of fighting for a parking spot to enjoy their food.

I've had burgers and their fish and chip deals from these guys, and the quality is always excellent. There are not many places where you can get a freshly made burger, chips and a drink for under $10 these days. Even the fish and chip deals can fill you up and still leave you change from $10. More than once I've got a little extra in the meal, which is a nice surprise.

The staff are very friendly, which is another reason I keep going back there.

They can be a bit busy at times, but if you're really in that much of a hurry, call ahead. They're make everything fresh as soon as you order.

My only "complaint" (and it's not really one) is that I can't eat there - I need the drive home to let it cool down enough.

And on the "odd thing" list is why their 600ml and 1.25l Coke range is the same price. I'm not complaining, though!
