I really wanted to share with WOMOW'ers that the gym in this place is literally equipment piled on top of itself! Though I use to go during quiet times, I still couldn't workout properly as, you feel and are so cramped.
The pool is fine and other services are fine, though I don't feel I can review them properly as I don't really use them.
Come here with my mum at least once a month and you have a heated pool 22m (about 3 lanes) an outdoor pool 50m. For an additional cost you get gym - pretty big, sauna and other stuff I can't review as I don't use them like cardio classes.
Your pretty much get what you expect and pay for. Highly recommend buying the ten visit card if you know you are going to go a few times, heaps cheaper. Yeah there is a life guard etc and adequate supervision.
My only gripe is that though there is two walking lanes and a massive side pool for the walkers. There are always walkers in the swimming lanes (I am not talking about slow swimmers which I am at times). Depending on the life guard on duty - they sometimes get moved - however when I personally ask them to move, they conveniently "don't speak English"

Love starting my Newtown pub crawl in Max Brenner. Nice Iced Chocolate to line the stomach and maybe even share a chocolate fondo with friends before we get stuck into it. Always packed and don't really expect customer service - as after you have queued for ages, handed over a little bit too much $$ for what you get - but hey, it's pretty damn good!
Yes it's cramped, but for chocolate lovers it's an absolute must. Oh, for couples go to the one on Oxford Street or the one in Wynard where you have more room to cuddle up etc etc
Next stop across the road to the Marly.
The queues in front of this place are always filled with Tourists, as the locals only come here at 2 in the morning, after a bender in the city or the rocks.
I mean, who pays over $15 for thick pancakes, with a few strawberries. As for the other meals on offer, who goes to a pancake house for chicken or steak? I've not going to A Steak House for Pancakes?
Do yourself a favor, unless it's two in the morning and your starving - don't get sucked into this over cramped, over priced, poor service, below average food and long waits.

No need really to read on. Bondi was the original before their Darling Harbour store.
Service is fine, good wine selection - served in good big glasses! Worth every penny though a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. You will need to book every night of the week - otherwise expect to wait for about 30minutes or more on Friday and Saturday night.
A bit crammed and I feel the service is good but no where near as good as their Darling Harbour restaurant.
There is nothing bad to say about this place, and the long queues tell you the same.

You don't come here for the service, you don't come here to have a nice dining experience of space or room to move. Or people talking in "restaurant voices."You don't come to Chatswood (the Cabramatta of the North Shore) because you like to be pushed into, or to show your kids how to form a orderly line.
You do come to Makoto for the food which is sublime and close to the best Japanese (Sushi train style or otherwise) in the land. Do try the Karaage Chicken and Soft Shell Crab - can take a while but it's worth the wait.
I would also add it's a bit more expensive then other places, which could be tough for families. But I would suggest it's worth every penny!
Citibank made a mistake on my account, they admit it was their error. But even though I tried to resolve it straight away, they still called me after 9pm on several occasions, called me on ANZAC day, called me on the public holiday Queens Birthday and each time it was for the same thing - an error they created and would not fix up. I would say over 12 hours of my life was wasted explaining the same thing again and again.
Worse bank I have ever dealt with having call centres overseas doesn't exactly help things, as they don't care what time they call you here in Australia and are actually quiet rude and demanding!
