Found this little gem on the Take a Break website. We were looking for a last-minute place to have a nights break away before new year and this looked appealing. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and shown to the cute little Garden Cottage. It is a bed-sit type arrangement with an ensuite and limited cooking facilities but plenty for a one or two night stay. It was very comfortable and furnished to suit the age and style of the building. It was located close to the main house but you didn't feel that you were being watched at all. There was seating outside to enjoy a coffee or wine but we loved the serenity and peaceful surroundings - great after a busy Christmas time. The town of Castlemaine has lots to offer and so our overnight stay was very enjoyable. We would go back again if the opportunity presents itself.
For some reason the website isn't always accessible but all information can be found here - http://www.takeabreak.com.au/castlemaine/goldfields/claremontcoachhouse.htm

We have used this dental clinic ever since living in Australia - 18 years now. Although there have been various dentist come and go the service and quality of the practice has remained excellent. We have never been referred for treatment that hasn't been necessary or that would cost mega bucks as we often hear from other people. They are happy to work out an option that suits our budget and don't push for anything more. We would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new dentist.
We needed an urgent fix of a hot water problem at our investment property and we were impressed with the quick service that was provided. The problem was solved quickly, fully tested and guaranteed for 12 months. Understandably had to pay a surcharge for it being at the weekend but it cost about what we expected it to.
Now I haven't actually been into the Ringwood store for many, many years! Checked it out when we first moved here but haven't been back. But with the way the front window looks and is presented I wouldn't want to walk into the store anyway. Maybe they don't rely on walk-in sales because I am not sure who would walk through the door. The window is so unimaginative, mannequins are missing hands, things are falling off the wall...just so uninspiring and dreary. Not a good look at all.
I have visited this café twice now and have enjoyed both experiences. The first was with my daughter and two small children and they were very accommodating of small children. The food available for younger ones was reasonable. I would love to see kids platters introduced here in Australia - NZ do an excellent job with these but as yet I haven't found them here. They often consist of cheese, crackers/chips, dried/fresh fruit, cocktail sausages or similar or things like this. A great option over high sugar or fat items. The second visit was for a breakfast date and we enjoyed the yummy food and great coffee. We will be returning for sure.
Just love this new addition to Chirnside Park. It provides a place to shop for a 'something special' gift or just something nice for yourself. The layout of the store gives heaps of ideas to use in your own home. The service received from the staff is always very helpful and friendly. Each item is individually wrapped and placed in a lovely carry bag. Their loyalty program is a great incentive to go back, too. They have a Facebook page with great interaction with their followers with regular little competitions to participate in. Keep up the great work!
This is a new café in Blackburn and we found out about it when they visited our office with samples of the products they offer! Great marketing strategy and introduction to the local businesses. This past Friday six of us from our office decided to go out for coffee and chose this café. The guys are friendly and eager to please. The coffee is cheap as is the food. We sampled the apricot and fruit bread which was delicious. The cream puffs are beautiful and our friends have said the pies are to die for! So well done guys - we will definitely be making this a regular place to visit in the future.
After visiting the Bayswater showroom we agreed to have a 'designer' visit our house and discuss what we were considering for our kitchen update. Julia was excellent and very thorough and walked us through a variety of options and gave us lots of helpful advice. She drew scale plans at that visit to show us what we could achieve - about a 2 hour evening visit. This was followed up with an appointment at the Moonee Ponds showroom so that we could see some of the particular finishes she had told us about. Our plans were then gone through in great detail and costed and negotiated with us to a final agreement. Today we have had the 'technical' visit by Gary who drew plans again and made sure the measurements were correct and these have now gone to the factory so that our kitchen can be started tomorrow! We have been so impressed with the professionalism of all concerned, their knowledge of their business and obvious enjoyment in their work. We have not felt rushed or pressured in any of the process which is important with such a large, expensive project. We are so looking forward to having our new kitchen installed in January 2014 (factory closes over Christmas/New Year otherwise it might have been in before Christmas) and seeing our dream come to fruition. Thanks to everyone involved.

Having been to Weller's a few years ago we decided to use our Entertainment Book coupon and go back for a special occasion this week. We were there on a Wednesday evening and were surprised at the number of diners - that in itself is a positive review. The service from the staff was excellent - very friendly and happy to chat and joke and not make you feel like they needed to get away. The food came out in good time and was well 'plated' and tasted amazing. A good variety of items on the menu without being too many choices. All the food we tasted was delicious and not stingy. They were happy with us waiting before deciding to order desserts and then when we decided not to order we weren't made to feel like we were wasting their time. We will definitely go back sometime in the future - maybe on a weekend daytime to enjoy the beautiful views they have to offer.

In the search for a new lounge suite we were happy with the customer service and assistance we received at Urban Rhythm. The friendly & helpful nature of Anne in giving the information we needed right through to completing the order was outstanding. Being a 'home grown' company with the furniture being made to order here in Melbourne was a bonus for us. Unfortunately there was a big delay on the fabric we had chosen - we were given the option of waiting that delay out of coming in and choosing another fabric. We were advised there were a few options close to what we had originally chosen and so we took that option. Delivery was as indicated and the helpful delivery people topped of the experience. Would highly recommend this business.
