This Hungry Jacks Restaurant opened in April 2018. I used to travel into Ballarat (10km round trip) (Bakery Hill) Hungry Jacks, so this new restaurant is very handy. But as I use the drive through to order my take away meal, I’d like to have serviettes in the bag. It would also be great if the staff didn’t spill frozen drink all over the outside of the cups. Take care when pouring the frozen drinks & if there’s a spill, then wipe it up. There driveway is very tight before the last window. The garden & kerb has already showed signs of damage & previous customers having to mount the kerb to get around the corner. Poor design & minimal width allowance. Otherwise it’s a great store. Make sure you continue to teach new drive through staff excellent customer service & remember serviettes, serviettes, serviettes!!

I recently went to the Ballarat North Sports Club to have a coffee with my friend. The reception staff acknowledged us immediately upon entry & made the sign in process effortless. Dining staff were very friendly & helpful. I enjoy going to this venue regularly, but are disgusted with the cigarette butts scattered directly outside the front door. There’s cigarette butt containers for patrons to use & signage is clear as to where smoking is permitted. However, I think management (2nd time I’ve made this comment) needs to make it clear to smokers that cigarette butts need to be placed in the containers provided & not on the ground at the front door, for all patrons to use. It’s the only negative about the club that I can see. Maybe signage enforcing fines for litterers, is necessary, to make the ‘Keep Australia Beautiful’ Message clear. Best food here by the way.

My partner has Parkinson’s disease & can’t walk long distances or climb gangway stairs. We recently went on holidays interstate & chose to fly with Qantas because customers embark straight from the departure lounge to the aircraft. Upon checking in our luggage at Melbourne Airport & Brisbane Airport, the airport staff arranged for my partner & myself to travel via terminal transportation to our departure gate. The professionalism of Qantas is of the highest standard & they look after their customers with ease. Well done Qantas. We will always travel Qantas both domestic & international. Keep up the great work. Thank you.

I called into 2 Sugars Espresso Cafe in Cowra on my way home to Victoria. I had trouble finding another cafe in Cowra, so thought I’d try this cafe. The decor was really modern & fresh. The owners were very friendly too. Unfortunately, all they had for sale were focaccias, that’s it. They have scaled back their menu & removed pies, pasties etc & no longer employ extra staff because young people were unreliable. The toasted focaccia was okay, nothing special & the mocha coffee was very weak & no hint of chocolate at all. If they’re looking for more customers, get better flavoured coffee, just add a few hot food options, stay open longer than 3pm & be open on Sundays. They’ll do much better with business.

We drove through Harden (New South Wales) & stopped for 2 salad rolls for our lunch. The lady who served us was very friendly & pleasant. We found on outdoor spot to eat our rolls, as we had our dog with us. The roll had ham, cheese & filled with lettuce. I was charged $16 for a ham, cheese, small sliver of beetroot & lettuce white (unhealthy roll-no other choices... I like to eat health multi seeds/grains roll which could be offered as a healthier alternative. A total ripoff in my opinion & taking advantage of people travelling through with little choice of other eateries.
