My best friend and I always go together to Heading Out - for a glass of champagne, a head massage in the massage chair, and of course a great hair cut. There is also killer sushi downstairs! Price is a little prohibitive, but it's always fun!

Having never looked "out west" for property, we had a fantastic experience with Jas Stephens - who are true specialists for the "inner west" of Melbourne. Although they have a smaller profile than some of the bigger chains, they focus on this area and as a result - are consummate specialists and professionals!
A gorgeous old 1930s theatre, beautifully renovated. One of their cinemas, 'La Scala', is a more intimate size with deep leather armchairs to rival Gold Class. And at the same price as a standard ticket!
Very casual and family friendly - sunny weekends see children cavorting on the grass out the front. Close to the Maribynong bike track for anyone wanting to ride! Part of the Footscray Community Arts buildings.

Although tha name makes it sound like it should be a bit suburban and tacky, this is a fantastic place for a celebration or to really treat yourself. The best crays in Melbourne! Worth the drive.
