I have used vicmovers 3 times now and they have always been very professional and have the best essential qualities of good removalists: reliable, efficient and careful. Totally recommend. (If still in doubt, go have a look at what few bad reviews they have, and see how Amar has handled them.)
These guys basically find the best price by offering the sale to multiple dealers and then seeing who can come in with the best deal, and then they can push back on the dealers to make it better. (note, the standard deal is delivered to your door, so it doesn't matter who you get it from.)
The guy I mainly talked with (hi Gary!) was totally my type of sales person - up front with all the information, no hassle or pushy sales tactics, and very good at making things happen once I decided to proceed.
