Handy Japanese restaurant opposite Como so we went here for a quick bite before going to the movies. It's also in the entertainment book which is nice. Our food was tasty and quite reasonably priced. Other diners had ordered Sukiyaki and it looked great. May try that in future.

We were here for an early dinner on a Saturday and we had a great meal. Everyone was happy with the serves and value. I had a great warm chicken salad and the service was quite good.

Although this place is probably not known as a breakfast place, it is open for breakfast on the weekend. We went here for Sunday breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavour of the eggs and mushrooms we ordered. Exceptionally good. Coffee was OK too.
Approximate cost: $13
Went looking for a great dumpling experience but was disappointed. Dumplings were ok, nothing special. We ordered three main meals: a soup, a noodle dish and a rice dish. All pretty tasteless although the crispy chicken on rice was quite good. We left most of the meals. Sizes were very generous and cheap.

We had lunch here so we were able to enjoy the full benefits if the beautiful setting beside Albert Park Lake. This is a more expensive restaurant but it is also in the entertainment book so that helped. Lovely food and spot. Service was slow but ok
Approximate cost: $35
This place has mainly an outdoor seating area and has a limited menu. The bakery items are quite good but there its mainly pies and muffins. You can use an entertainment book voucher here and save.
The sushi here is really great. But it is more expensive than most sushi bars. Rolls are between $2.60 to $3 and you pay 50c extra just for ginger. But the sushi is very good so at least you get quality. You can take away or eat in.
I got lots of quotes and Yori was the cheapest. What was great was that he was reliable and prompt as well. A great can do attitude and very helpful. Everything was moved in good condition and without a hassle.
Had the warm Vietnamese Salad which was filling and quite tasty. Love the concept of this place. Next time I will try the Japanese pancakes. A great place to have lunch during the week when it's not too busy.
This funky cafe is hidden amongst warehouse and offices not far from Punt Road, over Bridge Rd and not far from North Richmond station. Indoor outdooor areas offer interesting eating areas. Upstairs the ventilation is bad so we were surrounded by food smells which was a bit yuk. Menu is adventurous and different. Food was good and so was coffee. My only complaint was that eggs came with one lone piece of toast. For the price I think this is stingy. But overall a novel and special place
