I've been twice now for a leg wax. My first visit was great - they were friendly and efficient, the therapist was very patient and understanding about the less-than-ideal results of my previous home waxing, and she really took her time and made sure she'd done a good job. I rebooked with her for the next time but ended up being seen by someone else, who did a pretty good job but it was more rushed and painful and lacked the same attention to detail. The online booking system and text reminders are great for busy people

Wow so great to have all these kiwi products and friendly kiwi service so close! When we went there was a somewhat limited selection but I understand these things come and go with supply.
Staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. The extended opening hours are great for people like me working full-time. I'm not used to paying a gap but I think it's worth it to go to a clinic where the service and care is not so rushed and is more personal
We bought a second-hand car from here and also got an extended warranty that lasted 3 years and had the condition that we get the car serviced there as well. Therefore for the last 3 years I've had the car serviced there regularly but have always thought the services have been quite expensive. Since the warranty lapsed I've been going to a local mechanic which seems cheaper and also picked up a problem with the front shock absorbers that they seemed to think had been there a long time. He was shocked that it had not been picked up earlier. The location is not great - good if you live or work nearby (e.g. at the Austin) but otherwise it's not that practical e.g. is quite far from the train station. Customer service has always been good though, pretty friendly and helpful. Unlikely to return though due to the costs, inconvenient location, and worry about why they didn't pick up the problem the other mechanic did.
I was really happy with my experience here. It was convenient as they are open Saturday mornings. They were quick and efficient and were very up-front about the costs beforehand. They also picked up a problem with the car that they thought had been there for a while but not picked up by the previous mechanic which is a worry! They were again very clear about why it was a problem, what needed to be done, and the costs. The main guy, maybe the owner or manager, not sure of his name, was very polite and professional as well. Overall great service, prices seemed very reasonable, good customer service, very happy and will be returning.
I've only recently joined and it's my first time joining a gym, so I don't have a lot of basis for comparison, but but so far I have been happy with my decision.
Good things:
- location (there are not many other gyms nearby to Coburg - and the alternatives seemed to have less equipment or classes), good hours, plenty of parking - all things that could stop someone going to the gym as regularly as they planned
- equipment - there are always machines available and they've so far been clean, easy to use and in good working order
- classes - there is a good range of classes at different times and the instructors are great, they also let class members request songs and they mix and match routines so it keeps it fun and interesting
- staff - everyone I've dealt with has been friendly and professional, and the receptionist always greets me on arrival
- customers - other people at the gym seem friendly and down-to-earth, so I don't feel intimidated at all
- ladies only gym - sometimes it's full but it is great to have this quiet, more private alternative to the main sections
- steam room - I haven't used this but will soon when I feel brave enough! It's nice to have the option of somewhere to relax after a workout
Not so good:
- pushy sales - I did feel a bit pressured to sign up on the spot, and then later when I thought I'd signed up for an email newsletter another salesperson (who didn't know I was a member) rang me multiple times a day over Easter weekend until I answered my phone - pretty rude and inappropriate if you ask me. They also tried to get contact details for friends and family so they could try and sign them up. I guess this is part and parcel of most gyms but it just pays to do your research in advance I guess and resist the pressure until you make up your own mind
- lack of a swimming pool - the alternative was the local leisure centre which does have a pool, but then most gyms don't have pools
- cost - the price is pretty standard I think but some other local gyms might be cheaper - but I do think this is the best facility in the Coburg area so it's probably worth paying that little bit extra
- the most disappointing part has been the lack of options for getting set up with a training program (aside from personal training, which I can't afford right now). I completed the Kickstart program which includes 3 PT sessions and, I thought, a program to continue with on your own. But I think you have to sign up for more PT sessions to get the program. There are no other programs for newbies like me to learn about the weights machines etc

Visiting Green Butterfly cured me of my hairdresser phobia. The focus genuinely seemed to be on giving me a cut and colour I was happy with and that suited me - not on criticising the fact that I hadn't had a haircut for months, or on selling me the latest $40 styling cream. The cut was a little bit unexciting but still good, and suited me, and the colour was absolutely perfect!

We really felt like eating at home and went to Bismi to get some takeaways, and ended up eating in. In the end it felt like eating at home because the restaurant was so cosy and looked like a grandma's living room. The food was delicious, cheap, and plentiful, and the service was fantastic. Try the avocado juice.

I was a regular customer at Foo Consept several years ago. After going to other hairdressers for a while, as I lived quite far away and found it difficult to travel there, I returned recently. In my past visits to the salon, I was always happy - great cuts, lovely people, beautiful salon. When I went back recently nothing had changed except the salon had moved down the road and was roomier and even more nicely decorated than before. Adil, the owner (?) used to cut my hair and has always done a fantastic job. This time I had my hair cut by Jenny, who was friendly and had great suggestions and again did a wonderful job.

I went here for the first time with a friend, on a recommendation from another friend. The salon was nice, and I enjoyed the massage. However, I hadn't had a haircut in a while and was trying to grow it out, and the stylist I had made comments that seemed (to me) a bit rude, about how I really needed a haircut and how the cut I'd had before was really strange (I'd really liked it). She didn't really listen to what I wanted and the end result was a bit of a "nothing" cut, and although it was OK, I wasn't really happy with it. At the end of it all, I got charged about $75 WITH student discount (and my friend, who got a fantastic cut and had a lovely stylist, paid $40!) Something to do with having a senior stylist apparently. I wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend it. You might end up happy like my friend, or like me, disappointed and ripped off.
