caron's cakes made my wedding cake for my wedding in September 2007. We were all very happy with the cake and loved the great selection of flavours. We ended up choosing Jaffa mud for one tier and Cointreau for the other.
When we first went to look at her cakes we were given a food variety of samples to take home and try. Caron was very professional and organized as I was mostly organizing a wedding from interstate this was a load off my mind.
These guys did all of our hair and make up for my wedding in September 2007. They were absolutely wonderful. I had to make most of my wedding plans from interstate and this was easy with them due to good communication. When I had my hair trail in their salon I was having a drama with another wedding supplier and came in nearly in tears. The girls calmed me down and helped me feel better. On the day they were good company and we were all happy with our hair, make-up and nails. They came out to our venue and I feel the cost was quite reasonable. They went the extra mile by suggesting and sourcing hair decoration for me just a day before the wedding. This company was recommended to me and I would recommed them to others.
Laidley Florist provided the flowers for my wedding in September 2007. I was completely happy with the product and service. At the time I had to organize most of my wedding from interstate which was quite stressful, but the lady I dealt with Lois made this part of the organization a breeze. She always communicated promptly and on the day the flowers were just what we imagined. She offered helpful practical hints and the cost was reasonable (not hiked up like some wedding suppliers are known to do). I was recommended to use this business and I recommend others d the same.
When we recently lived in Broome this is where we got all our drinking water from. I have to say I haven't been able to find water I'm as happy with since. (As far as taste goes)The price was reasonable for a remote area with refill bottles (I think they are 15Litres) around $12 each. This included delivery, which was always timely. When we rung up to reorder the water would be out to us in hours.
Approximate cost: $12 a bottle.
This store was my saviour whilst recently living in Broome. It has all the things city organic/natural living stores have-organic food, herbal supplements, cleaning products etc. The staff were friendly and helpful and ordered me in things they didn't have in stock. the only bummer about this store is that when something isn't available in stock it can take a long time to arrive since Broome is so isolated.
Fundies packs a lot of organic and natural grocery products into quite a small space. They have some of the best organic fruit and veg I've seen in a store. I only pick up the odd thing from them though because parking is not that easy. They don't appear to have a carpark so you have to find a street park and the area gets quite busy. The staff seem friendly and willing to help.
I was looking for additive free bread and was happy to discover Sol Breads because they are an organic bakery. The sell things like breads, rolls and other bakery items. I was pleased to be able to purchase some gourmet organic bread rolls like Olive and thyme but I also wanted some plain rolls and wasn't able to get these. The service I recieved was neither excellent nor bad, it was quite average.
We were looking for organic cotton products like towels, hankies, bedding etc. This is the best store I have found to date for these products.
The sales assitant was friendly, but not pushy and was able to talk us through products we were interested in ie was very knowledgeable about it.
I had previously ordered from their website and also found this a positive shopping experience.
This is a good store to shop in for organics they have a good variety of organic products. I have been able to find packaged organic products here that I couldn't find elsewhere. Staff in store are friendly it is just dissappointing that I wasn't phoned when promised. A staff member had said they could get a product in for me and would give me a call. I never recieved a call and even tried to follow up on it once myself. At this point they said there had been a delay, but they would call when the product arrived. A few weeks later I was in store and found the product I'd ordered, but I was never notified.
We moved back to Brisbane recently and were looking for an organic grocery provider. We have found Wray to be our favourite because they have a good variety of organic fresh and processed food, meats and dairy and the staff are very friendly.
The general atmosphere of the store is also great. They have a lot of information about natural living and people in the store are passionate about organic living.
