They were amazing
Turned an old box style garage remote into a portable keyring within 24 hours.Very quick, very efficient, great price.

We would like to warn potential customers to be wary of Dial a Mover
1. We booked them on Tuesday for 10 am and did not arrive until 11,54
2. The staff member I spoke to had stated he would personally be working on the move, he did not.
3. The staff were not wearing a uniform or appropriate footwear.
4. The truck was unidentifiable with no company logo.
5.Although the client had packed and moved all her own belongings into the front yard,driveway and into 2 rooms, the move from Nunawading to Eltham took over 7 hours.
6.When the staff arrived at the new address, they were smoking and on their mobile phones whist working.
7.The client was forced to borrow portable lighting from a neighbour as it became dark and the staff were attempting to unload a truck in darkness due to not having their own equipment.
8.The client had to assist in unloading their own goods as some staff were only carrying a box at a time rather than using the trolley meaning the time x hourly rate was excessive.
9. Some goods were not delivered at all and client was told they would have to go back and get themselves.
10. Some goods were found to be water damaged, broken and missing but owner refused to supply insurer details even though they state they are fully insured.
11. Staff could not calculate fees due at end of job without clients assistance and failed to supply a receipt.
12. Fees charged by business were only to be paid by cash as stated by staff.

We have found the whole experience very stressful and costly, and it was explained prior to the booking that the client was 81 yo and needed to be treated fairly and professionally.
The site for the business stated they were committed to ensuring valuable possessions were relocated securely, that the staff were well presented and professional and that the company was fully insured. Unfortunately we have found none of this to be true.
There is a serious OHand S matter here and failure to communicate insurer details with customer to address all her concerns with damage, breakage and loss.
It has been a week since the move and no suggestion from owner to rectify wrongs.
