Banks cafe, formerly whats-a-names, is a modern, comfy cafe. Staff on our breaky visit were friendly and prompt. Pretty decent breakfast menu at reasonable prices. Noticed the cake display on our way out too, definately looking forward to trying some of those out!

Rooftop Cinema is good fun for a night out in the summer. Lots of cool older movies to see, which is great if you never got to see them on the big screen back in the day! I personally think the tickets are a overpriced for what you get, there is not much leg room in the beach chairs even though they look impressive all set up on the roof. Also if you want a good seat you do have to get in early, and once you're in, besides buying over-priced food and drink there is not a lot to keep you entertained or any room really to do anything in your seat (like play cards). They also discourage bringing your own food and drink which is a bit of a downer. Still good fun though, bring a blanket - it gets cold!

I have been here for breakfast and dinner. Really enjoy the food, but the service at our recent dinner left a bit to be desired. Given the lack of customers on the evening we attended it was somewhat annoying waiting for someone to come and offer us more drinks and the wait between dinner and desert was so long we helped ourselves to the menus on another table so we would be ready to order when they finally did come back and see how we were. This Pancake Kitchen does not really come up to the standard of it's Melbourne Pancake Parlour counterparts but if you like pancakes, then it's for sure the place to go. One thing I would say is that they serve their hot fudge sundaes with a lot more fudge than Melbourne and the nuts come seperate too which was pretty cool.

The Wantirna Hill Club have a pretty good menu at reasonable prices. Even more appealing is the shop-a-dockets to buy one meal and get a second meal for only $2 - bargain! The venue is decent, there is a bar area, function area and TAB. Good local spot with excellent daily meal specials at excellent prices.

Had to see what all the fuss was about at Misty's from all the reviews on womow. We went and we saw and we did not leave hungry!! The vegetarian nacho's (mild), skinny fries and onion rings were excellent and I would definately recommend the reece's pieces thickshake to anyone who likes peanut butter. We did not leave empty handed even after our meals and brought home some blueberry poptarts and a can of 'canada dry ginger ale' which was awesome! Great spot to pick up lots of american goodies and a great dine-in experience. Misty was friendly and welcoming and we will definately be back.

This is my local grocer and they are the best. It's a family business and they are just the nicest people ever, so grateful for their customers. Prices are competitive and the produce is of excellent standard. Sadly a larger chain green grocer has recently opened in the same complex, I hope this will not ruin this smaller family business, I know I won't go anywhere else. Excellent location nearby Coles too so you can get both supermarket and fresh fruit and veg close by on one trip.

For a smaller store The General Trader has an extensive range of all things kitchen and dining. Reasonable prices and friendly staff make the experience even more enjoyable. Great for a browse, lots of gift ideas and the first place I go when I need something for the kitchen!!

I am a huge fan of Pizza Hut's online ordering service. Compared to the telephone where you hold for ages and have to answer a lot of questions, the online system is quick and straight forward and the pizza is delivered to your door in half an hour. As far as the pizza goes, I find it pretty standard across their stores. Not everyone's fave but I enjoy the vegie supreme and garlic bread just fine. If you haven't ordered online you should definately try it, it's unbelievably easy!!

I'm a big fan of ING. Great interest rates and no fee's. Excellent way to save money having the account seperate to my daily spendings. No problems signing up and the website is really easy to use. Assuming the bank never fails (as it is not government guarenteed) i'm glad to have an account with them! Love getting statements and seeing what interest I have accumulated for no hard work.

Queen Vic Market is a great spot for a city shop. Lots of bargains and lots to see. Fresh fruit and veg is also excellent and great value for money. Parking at the actual market carpark if you're going to make a day of it is excessively priced so best to avoid. I tend to visit the market on a Sunday and in most cases get lucky with free parking a few streets away. The market is also easily accessible by public transport. I find some of the sales people a bit pushy and in-your-face, but there really is lots to see and something for everyone - great for Christmas shopping this time of year!!
