Just tried my first box last week and the quality of the fruit & veg is fantastic! Ok, so it's a little more expensive but seriously... who has the time to go to the farmers markets every week? This gets delivered to your door (or to Whitecliffs General Store, Rye for southern peninsula) and they even give you recipes! You can specify your dislikes in your profile and even change these week to week.
The Rye Health Store couldn't possibly fit any more products in, it would take you a couple of hours to have a good look around! They do great smoothies and it's where I go to buy Alchemy shampoo & conditioner. Andrew (the owner) is so lovely, ask him anything!
Though small, this place is great! Eric is a wealth of knowledge about music and loves to chat. The food is great value and, best of all, it's open from 5.30am!!! I think it's the only place in Rye you can get a coffee that early (besides the service station).

This is a great little shoe shop that is now branching out into jewellery, bags and wallets. The service is great.... ask for Verna! She helped me out with a new pair of high heels and Converse sneakers. Say hi to Molly the golden labrador, who's often out the back.

If you haven't tried afghani food, this place will leave you wanting to have it every night! I'm not a fan of seriously hot food so I was delighted to find that the spicy dishes are mild and so tasty! The atmosphere is amazing too - they manage to cover every square inch in something middle-eastern. Oh, and go to the toilet! The waiting area is classic! :)

This is my favourite hangout and I take all of my friends/visitors there. The live music is fantastic and guaranteed to get you dancing on a Fri or Sat night! Nathan, Jahna and Nick are so friendly and would do anything for you. They have an Open Mic night each Wed, which is a great way for budding musos to get some experience playing in front of a crowd. My favourite meal is the Fish Taco with a house red wine! As a result of visiting so often I've become great friends with the owners. Local legends!
