I take my car to get serviced here and the service is great. Sue is SO helpful and one of the loveliest ladies you'll meet. They always let me know what costs are going to come up in future services and won't just slug you with a huge bill. They send friendly reminders when your service is due too.
We had a great night at our first Bogan Bingo, held at Baha Tacos (Rye) and had a ball!! No holds barred, "Daz" is out there! I think I lost my voice from laughing and yelling out with the crowd! Audience participation is the name of the game. You'll have a ball listening to 80s classics.... every time I hear "Eye of the Tiger" now, I see Daz looking from person to person in time with the opening bars... loved it!
I can't believe this isn't on WOMOW yet! We experienced Copacabana during a farewell party for friends heading off to South America. What a fantastic night we had!! The 7 course dinner was awesome - you'll try food you've never had before. Real brazilian dancing (think Rio de Janeiro!!), capoeira, hot dancers and really, really friendly authentic staff. The band played the best merenque I've heard in Australia and were not shy in getting everyone on the dance floor!
This is my favourite sit-in cafes in Rye! I love walking the dogs early in the morning, along the beach, and having some brekkie at Picknics. Most of the baking is done on site by Nikki, while Tim is the chef out the back. Breakfast & coffee won't break the bank either. I've become mates with Tim & Nikki, they're great people!
I really like the smoothies here and the food is great value for money! The location is fantastic... just walk up from the beach or pier and they are right near the pedestrian crossing.
Good value for money and the food is great. I love the tablecloths! :) This business really adds to the Rosebud West shopping strip and always seems busy. We've never had trouble getting a seat and there are bowls of lollies at the counter.
Absolutely fantastic thai food. There are a couple of Thai places on the southern peninsula (e.g. Thai Rosy, Rye Thai) but the TLC is where you go when you want fine dining. Very classy.
This is where you'd go for a serious pampering session or relaxation. Though a little pricey, the massages are superb and have a wonderful ambience in the rooms. IT'S THE BEST IN WINTER! The pools themselves have the natural springs smell. Go right up the back (up the hill) and find the small pool with the hotter temp of 41 - 42 deg C. Even in the winter it's hard to stay in longer than 10mins!
We had no idea it was indian food when we rocked up for a meal. But wow!! We are going there again tonight! Try the garlic naan! The meals are a good size too, you'll roll home afterwards!
Approximate cost: $20
The best coffee on the Peninsula! They use Jasper Coffee, which is my favourite! Join their coffee club (you'll see hundreds of loyalty cards on their pinboard) and you'll receive every 6th coffee for free! For me, that's a free coffee every week :)
Oh, and they've just become the drop-off point for Organic Angels fruit&veg boxes each Tuesday.
Approximate cost: $6
