These guys are great! My husband, the kids and me were all fitted out with boots, skis, poles, ski jackets and pants with no problems at all. The staff were friendly, patient and helpful - especially with the kids. Their prices are some of the best around and hiring on the mountain means if there are any problems you can go in and see them. I would definitely recommend them if you're going skiing at Mt.Buller.

Staying at the Abom hotel on Mt.Buller was a disappointing experience - and although cheaper than some of the alternatives it was not value for money. The rooms were small and sub-standard, there is no-where for hotel guests to enjoy peace and quiet during the day (except in their rooms!) because the ski-school kids take over the Moosehead bar, the evening meals (apart from pizza) were over-priced, the staff were stressed and the fire alarm went off meaning all guests and staff had to evacuate and stand in the snow for about 20 mins!! The pizza was great, some of the staff very friendly and the fire in the Moosehead bar in the evening (when we finally convinced staff to light it) was great, but we won't be staying there again.

It wasn't as good as we thought it might be. The food was fairly average and the long wait for it was frustrating. We would have preferred a smaller menu and better quality.

C'etait magnifique! Beautiful French food and wine, fabulous service, and a great atmosphere. It's a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. It's not cheap, but then no French restaurant is!

The best 'Amelie-style' bob haircut I've had (still not quite perfect, but pretty good!) The 'stylist' hairdresser I had was helpful, attentive and took her time (unlike some hairdressers I've had), and did a great job of styling when blow drying my hair after cutting it. They're not the cheapest, but they're certainly one of the best I've had so far.

My housemate and I adopted a cat from them years ago and we found them to be fantastic. The staff were all really friendly and helpful when we were choosing a cat to adopt (so hard!) and the vet was great when we had to bring our cat back a week later or so with a nasty abscess. It's been years since I've been there, but if I was ever going to get a cat again this is where I'd go.
Pretty good and good value - my woollen jacket only cost $8. My husband's suede jacket didn't come up as well as we hoped. The staff a friendly and my jacket was done pretty quickly. They do suede things onsite - which is handy - but it still takes a while.
Fabulous African restaurant. It was good fun to try some different food with friends and it was very tasty. My husband loved the ginger drink but it was a bit full-on for me! Not bad price-wise from memory - especially if you share a few dishes. They're not big dishes though.

Our favorite restaurant in Darwin - we make a point of going there every time we go back to Darwin! The food - especially the seafood - is fantastic! But there is also plenty of other options - including vegetarian options - if you don't like seafood. The staff are flamboyant and fantastic. And they still remember us! We miss their Nightcliff location and prices (they're a fair bit pricier now that they're at the Airpor Inn) but hopefully they'll be back there one day, and us too!
