Needed help with the tractor - no problem, someone comes to the property. Need help with the back hoe - no problem, someone comes out to the property, again. Trouble with the 4WD just drive it in & they will work on it & get it going again. Specialists in diesel engines & have a new technique to burn the fuel with LPG to give more efficiency and less greenhouse gases.
Always someone there who can give advice. Lots of variety for a small country town. Will order in most things for you, if it is not in stock already. Good, Pleasant service always experienced.
Got a good range of fabrics and other materials needed, especially for patchwork. Sometimes have to wait for some time to be served and hard to get advice - answers are mainly yes or no or maybe. Can get most basic supplies from here
The pump went on the tank. We had 4 visitors arriving the next day from overseas - 2 of them under 3. Needed water for everything, of course. Rang around & none could help as it was 3pm on a Friday. Finally someone suggested this mob. Told them the problem. They told us how to disconnect the pump & waited for us to bring it in. They lent us one to replace it overnight & brought the repaired one out to us on the Saturday mornig in time for the arrival of the visitors. This was a couple of months before we moved, but we still go to them for any advice or parts or repairs!
Building a new shed. We needed some fine blue metal base to put down under some large water tanks we were installing - one at each end. Needed 2 truck loads which were delivered when arranged - even helped us spread each load. Thanks a lot fellas!
Have won awards for best bakery in the area over the years. Make their own pies - lots of different flavours. If you have a sweet tooth, their yummy bee stings are great & gooey - but get there early as they run out quickly.
A good place to go for anything to do with pets. Able to get the animals or birds as well as their habitat, food, medicinals. Great range and located in a good central position. Carry a large range for horses, too.
Get the best quality pet supplies here for a reasonable price. Make up their own chicken scratch mix that they call chubby chook. The chooks love it, there is no wastage. Results in beaut eggs and healthy chooks
They took in a dog of ours that was sick. They took him in an emergency situation at 10.30pm and stayed up with him treating him all night. The next day,when they had him stabilised they organised for him to have specialist treatment in Sydney and only charged a general consultation fee.
Great variety of toys, games and books for preschoolers and school aged children. Great quality and also lots to decorate rooms and play areas. Only problem, they were ordering some things in for me & I was glad that I was not in a rush as it took them 3 weeks to actually place the order and then another 4 before I got the items
