More than four weeks after I placed a $200 order (3-14 business days for delivery???), and after emailing GoDeals asking where my order was, I received an email saying ‘we are waiting for few items in mystery box'. A few days later I received another email - ‘We have ran out of . . . . .. and . . . . that includes in your order and credited the amount for this item in your godollar account for future purchase'. IF THEY ARE OUT OF STOCK, YOUR MONEY IS NOT REFUNDED but you are forced to buy more products from them to get your money back. And although their policy states that they will advise you within 2 days if they are out of stock, ‘to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a back order or a full refund', it took them almost 5 weeks to advise me that my items were out of stock and offer no alternative. I had seen the two products they ran out of still being advertised on their site a week after I'd placed my order. These items were the main reason I did place the order and I feel quite angry that they were not put aside while GoDeals waited five weeks for more junk items for the Mystery Boxes I had also ordered.

The Deluxe Mystery Boxes are really a waste of money! The girl's one did contain the little red wagon but included a small cat toy, a pair of shoelaces, a ghastly brown suede picture frame, a cheap showground type jester's hat, an extremely ugly plastic doll and an equally horrible smaller doll. The famous brands and items that ‘your box MAY include' (sporting goods, craft sets, Barbie, Hannah Montana etc.) were mostly thin sticker and colouring books. I mistakenly thought that the Mystery Boxes would contain the toys that were advertised separately on GoDeals' site but I was sorely mistaken. The boy's box was even worse with the main item being a Ronald Dinho figurine and a small Gollum model with sound base and a lot of other useless and cheap small items (colouring book, shoelace, toy drill with half the box missing, a thin plastic Mickey Mouse party mask, plastic library bag and a small paper picture frame) that were certainly not worth $49.99 PLUS the additional postage paid for the mystery boxes.

Only the little red wagon in the girl's mystery box is any good for a gift and really nothing in the boy's box. These boxes are an absolute waste of money! If you must buy from GoDeals and you don't mind waiting a long time for delivery and you don't mind not having your money refunded, don't buy the Mystery Boxes but buy items separately so you know what you should be getting and you won't be wasting your money on a lot of useless junk.

I looked at Facebook to post a warning but noticed that anything negative about GoDeals had been deleted.
