Dropped in fairly late one evening and we were served warmly. We enjoyed our pizza and coffees, sitting outside on the main strip of Margate. The staff are efficient and friendly. Parking is pretty easy right outside or just up the road.

They also do kebabs and they make the meat themselves so you don't have to worry what's gone into it. It's actually great quality meat flavoured to the owner's recipe.

It doesn't get much walk-by traffic so support this local business and get to know the owners as they would love to be busier. They also deliver so pick up the phone!

The pizzas were delicious. Next time, we're going to try the Kebab Pizza!!

Sushi City Train has only recently opened at Stafford City though there are other stores at Caboolture, Morayfield and Wynnum. We went here for a quick lunch and were very impressed. The staff are pleasant and obliging. The food is incredibly fresh and you can watch the chefs making it. The chefs are very professional and go about their business quietly and efficiently.

There is an abundance of choice and everything is delicious. Prices are as you'd expect for a sushi train. You can also get soft drinks, green tea and water.

Pleasant environment; you can enter via the food court or via the external door.

Had a lovely lunch here one day recently. The husband and wife owners are friendly and hard working. They have a diverse range of domestic and international cheeses plus other delicatessen goodies. There is a whole wall of retail products including jams, sauces, chocolates and the usual suspects.

We enjoyed a really good salad and a chicken pie plus excellent coffees. Parking isn't always easy on Racecourse Rd but if you look in the surrounding streets, it's usually a safe bet.

The decor inside is lovely, very French provincial, with comfortable seating and pleasant temperature plus lots of things to look at.

Recommend for a quick ladies' lunch.

Delicious food at reasonable prices. Thai Chada is clean, neat and well presented and although I haven't dined in yet, it's very tempting. Takeaway is prompt. Service is friendly. I particularly enjoy the Tom Kha soup.

Parking is handy both behind the restaurant in the small carpark or in surrounding streets with a minimal walk.

All the staff are beautifully dressed in Thai silk outfits and there is always a busy buzz. Dine-in patrons always seem to be enjoying their meals and service.

The restaurant itself is kind of no frills but that's ok. You go out for Chinese for a quick, satisfying meal and a social occasion with friends or family. The girl who was working here the night I dropped in to pick up a takeaway was in fine form. She was juggling serving restaurant customers with takeaway customers, answering the phone, running the orders from the kitchen and handling payments. She did a great job, always with a smile and an apology for any delays.

The food at Ming Inn is pretty good; it's pretty much your standard Chinese fare. Nothing spectacular to write home about but the prices are in line with the quality ... just what you expect, no surprises, tasty and affordable.

Parking is plentiful under the building. There is ramp access for those who require it. Menu is extensive and all your favourites are on it.

When you buy shoes/boots, you expect a certain level of service. Unfortunately, the salesperson here just handed us boots and didn't take much interest. One pair came without laces threaded through so, rather than offer to help, he left us to do it ourselves. Of course this isn't a huge task but when you're paying $130 for boots, you do expect to be treated as though your purchase is of value to the business. Instead of watching us next time, how about actually performing your role and trying to SELL the product?

Also didn't give us change so we had to schlep back there to get it. Really not impressed to be honest.

We were hugely impressed with the mountains of food that came out for Banquet no. 1 which we ordered. Seriously, that much calamari for 3 people is crazy. I wasn't that thrilled with the dips but my sister and her husband raved about them. The meat platter was abundant and the desserts delicious. Service is attentive but not intrusive. Parking is easy and free, just outside the door.

My favourite was the mince pide, delicious!!

Kid-friendly, spacious and well decorated, I'd recommend Sultan's.

On a Saturday afternoon, it seems to be slim pickings in Bundy for lunch. We found a cafe whose lunch menu actually ends at 12.30pm, after which time, the place closes! Luckily for us, just a few doors up was the Club Hotel, a corner pub at the far (northern) end of busy Bourbong St.

You walk through the bar and arrive at the bistro area and you're greeted with a cold cabinet full of beautiful raw steaks waiting to be selected. We went with the lunch specials menu and had a wrap, fish and chips and a 150g porterhouse lunch. All the food was good with large servings and presented well. The fish was more batter than fish which was a little disappointing.

Staff are friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is quite noisy but all in all, it's quite comfortable.

Street parking nearby, would visit again.

Located at the back of Brother's Sports Club is Paddy's Bistro. You have to walk past the pokies area and it's very busy - or at least it was the Saturday night we were there. Loud and rushed, it's good for families but not for a relaxing night out. But that's ok because the prices are family-friendly too. There's a specials board and an a la carte section plus a quick service section where you can order roast of the day, chips and whatever else is going. There's a desserts cabinet with some old fashioned items on offer such as trifle, sticky date pudding, pavlova and so on, all very affordable at around $4.50 - $5.00.

The meals are huge and very filling. I had a lamb shanks meal with vegetables and gravy and couldn't finish it. They also have pastas, pizzas and more.

There's plenty of parking outside but when busy, you might have to walk a little.

Service is friendly and obliging but the staff are run off their feet so sometimes mistakes are made. Again, not a problem as it's not fine dining, just a good place to go and fill up.

We recently stayed three nights at Matilda Motel and were absolutely delighted. The accommodation is fairly basic but the pricing is well reflected. For a very reasonable price, we were really happy with the amenities. Our room had a double bed and a fold-out sofa bed, a flat screen TV, desk with two chairs, coffee table, ensuite with shower and toilet, separate basin, bar fridge, microwave, large wardrobe, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, toaster and kettle. Tea and coffee items were also supplied.

The room was exceptionally clean and although the decor is dated, it was very comfortable, including the bed and other furniture. A brand new a/c had been installed the day of our arrival. Everything was in good working order and the lighting is adequate.

We were very impressed with the free wi-fi which ran at better than expected speeds the whole time. As someone whose business is run online, I needed round the clock access to wifi and was not disappointed.

There are plenty of power points, there is a deadlock plus a chain on the door and also windows that open if desired.

Each motel room has a parking spot under the building and there is a CCTV camera for added security.

The service is the shining glory for Matilda Motel. Rita and Glenn are exemplary in the warmth and service they provide. They work hard and it shows. The breakfasts were always delivered on time and were of excellent value and quality. Rita and Glenn were helpful, kind and always on hand as required. They genuinely care about their guests and making every stay comfortable. And don't forget to say hi to 'Bundy', the beautiful old dog who greets visitors at reception.

You can also use the laundry for just $3 per wash and $3 per dryer load. Detergent is provided.

The Matilda Motel is in a very central location, offers a swimming pool and walking distance to pubs and restaurants. We would be most happy to stay there again next time we're in Bundaberg.
