Been out here many times. Last 2 times was beacuse they had specials on of half priced boxes.
Lindt chocolate shop at dfo is a large store on the corner opp city beach
Many many flavours of there delicious chocolates, xmas ones are new, gingerbread, peppemint candy cane and my faves coconut and the raspberry.
Prices are well below supermarkets but the best buy is fill a box for half price. So i get a $52 medium box for $26 and they had a deal where I got a free block because I spent $20.
They now have milk shakes and chocolate drinks freshly made out there. The store is amazing, set out with a wall,of block chocolate to choose from, choc spread, drinking and cooking chocolate, barrels of lindt balls . Its fabulous
Shop is clean and bright, staff are helpful and offer samples. Parking is enourmous so no prob there, soend a half day shopping ,open from 10 am till 6 pm .well, worth the effort
Pity a change of name doesnt mean an upgrade in the service or entertainment
Showed up here for the chilli festival ,lots of hype, starts at 1:30 nothing happened u til, after 2 . The hotel is clean and tidy, not very big,and not a very big crowd at any time.
The place needs some oomph. Nothing here really to drag in customers. Small amount of seats facing the street and the smokers area is right next door to non smoking but u still get the waft o smoke anyway so pointless.
Place is a bit dim with lighting.
The festival was a bit of a fizzer. There was no excitement in it for people.
A raffle was conducted but drawn in secret, well we didnt see it drawn but the number was yelled out after a while.
Pokies are in a different section, cafe and meals in the centre and bar to the right.
Food was nicely cooked tho.chicken wings were hot . Lemon lime and bitters we ordered wernt cold. Just slightly above cool.
Not impressed and may go back another time to check it out bit not soon. Parking is crap, street is usually full and the free car oarks are also usually full. For a night out forget it. For a quick drink try your luck, the foods about the best thing there
Cant think of anything other than praise for this place.
Huge amounts of food for our money.the lamb stuffed bread is gorgeous.moist inside and steamy hot.
Chicken tika was very tasty ,the sauces arnt thin and the chicken was large chunks which was appealing. The lamb rogan josh we had we chose mild and it was so nice in all aspects.
Rice was nice and fluffy, the serves are big and the place is lovely and clean, staff are very helpful and friendly . Interior chunky wood chairs are a delight, not flimsy like most places.Car park outside the store is easy walking distance. Easy to find, clean friendly and authentic indian food. Will be back thank you. They have deals on during the week that are really affordable. Just such a nice place for dinner or lunch prices start at around $2:50 for breads, entrees $5/10 and mains from $16/20
If you are ever hanging around noosa find thismplace for the best treat.
Cant say enough about todays visit!
Staff and owners were friendly,informative.
We had taste tests and came all the way from Caloundra just to try this treat Ive been seeing and hearing about.
Shop is clean bright and ice cream made before your eyes with liquid nitrogen. The smoke is a magic show lol
I had lemon meringue pie and omg it was, the presentation was as wonderful and that mouthwatering taste.
Partner had sticky date and its rather embarrassing when he tries to get his tongue in the near empty container to lick it! Lol thank you for the experience and we will be back
Parking is horrible being tourist precint so thats the worst park finding parking.
Easy to find, reg ,large cups or a cone. $7:50 upwards and well worth it. Will be going only here for my ice cream when in the area. Seats outside with tables, comfy and melt in your mouth. Milk eggs and fruit ice cream frozen before your eyes. Magic
Omg ,found this place doing a google search for somewhere different for a birthday night out and so glad we chose this place
Hidden gem in carseldine shopping centre ,so well worth the drive
Beautiful, wooden tables, inside and nice smaller tables outside. Very quiet corner
So many different things to try but dont order a main meal,by yourself! They are rather large.
We arrived ,seated by a lovely young man, explained things to us,the menu, specials etc. we ordered drinks ,i ordered a strawberry soda and devoured that so got a lychee soda ,both were delish and had those jelly type pearls and mint and fruit in them and were cold!
So,we ordered entrees, shanghai steamed pork dumplings with soup filling were absolutely scrumptious, never broke their casing, were fresh and hot and so tasty.
I ordered prawn twists and didnt share lol they had larger prawns in them and were lovely and crisp and hot
Mains were special fried rice with egg, pork chicken, we shared but didnt eat it all,
Son had honey pork which was crispy, not over cooked and just right with the sauce ,decorated with fresh half slices of cucumber and spiral carrot. Looked great.
The rest of us had pork in orange sauce with cointreau and i must say it was the best, just right in every way tho i could have shared it .again with the fresh garnish ,was lovely. Sauce was just thick enough and a nice orange taste.
Duck battered in lemon sauce was delectable and the duck fillet with shitake mushrooms in oyster sauce and vegetable was so tender and mouth watering.
So much food tho. Next time we will share a main and devour the entrees. Nothing was at fault except the large meals but we asked if we could have take home containers for the rice we couldnt eat and some of my sons honey pork.
More than happy to accomodate us.
The owner is lovely and asks a few questions of us like how we found the place etc, no ones in your face and the service was great. Open for dinner tue and wed and the rest of the week from 11
Parking is in the centre car park a minutes walk away.
Drinks were served in mason jars and were $6:50 ,rice was 13:50 and meals were from $18/26.
Place is clean, and inviting, pity its in the corner where u can miss it,but dont! Take friends for lunch, dinner, family,hi chairs are available.
So impressed. We will go,back again and again
Approximate cost: $18
Took my daughter here for lunch today for the first time.
Cant say either of us were impressed.
Service is just basic and not really friendly, just doing a job and hurry up and order attitude
We ordered at 12:40 half an hour later we got our food! Wasnt a big order and only 4 orders i front of us.
I ordered beer battered fish chip and salad and daughter ordered the walnut and pumpkin salad, calamari and i ordered cheesy garlic bread.
Bread came out ten min before the mains and was delicious. The right amount of cheese and crispy french bread halves. So we looked forward to the mains.
Well my fish was 3 skinny fingers that were rubbery,no taste and too think to count as fish. Chips, were chunky and nice and the salad was mixed bit the dressing was on the bottom and the greens looked soaked and old with that. We were hungry so had to eat something. My food was luke warm in minutes and wasnt appetising. Smoking down the end near the bar wafted up to our end so I closed the connecting door u til some oldies decided to go,theu and couldnt close it after.
The calamari was forgotten so my daughter went and asked and she came back and said the girl looked at her like she was lying about ordering it until she looked at the reciept .
For,the extra 15% for a public holiday surcharge the sevice and food was below par in our opinion, i expected a fresh battered piece of fish not some frozen rubbery tasteless finger.
The menu is large, specials for seniors and different days for, cheap, lunches. Parking is ok out front. Clean on the inside but staff need to up their game and the kitchen.
Dont know if id go back for a second try but if u want to try it go ahead . You might have a good day
Approximate cost: $22
Lots to do for the kids and adults can walk back thru nostalgia when they walk thru the garage shops down the back. Lots of goodies in the shop to buy,we paid for the river boat ride, not much for, adults but good for,the kids amusement, was a nice boat ride. The train was better as it takes
You on a tour of the park. Gorgeous flowers and the birds of oaradise are stunning when in bloom.
Its quite a walk but cafes and ice cream dot the grounds. Its a lovely day out, take plenty of water and sunscreen. Lots to see for free.
Stayed here in a room overlooking the river. The view of the mountains and people rowing in the mornings was magic. Room was clean, nice, modern, free wi fi. Decor was bright. The bed was so nice and comfy. Air con worked. Shops and cavill mall were 5/10 min walk away. The lobby is huge and the staff were welcoming.. car park is underneath the building. We walked to the q1 building, shops and night owl across the rd,restaurant next door.the light rail is a short walk away. Its located in the midst of everything in surfers. Will, stay there again. Cost was affordable .
this place is quite good. Clean bright ,tables and chairs inside and out. Friendly and a huge menu and very reasonable prices
We had fish n chips ,potato scallops, seafood sticks and drinks. Fish was lovely, cooked golden ,scallops were good ,not greasy and thick.
Have been here quite a few times and never disappointed . Everything is cooked well and always a chat and a smile.
Approximate cost: $13
This place is so big and wonderful. Came to load up oir freezer with $200
Car park is big, sausage sizzle outside on saturday,
The place is awesome, set up so you can find sauces in one section, veg in another, meat rubs so cool. Place was packed. We got chicken, rump, steaks, shanks. So far we had melt in your mouth slow cooked shanks one night, steaks another and the chicken is in the oven now with lemon stuffing. Smells good.
The guys are great ro talk to about cuts of meat etc. place is happy and bubbling. Love it
