these "must do" treehouses are a little slice of heaven.
i have made this my birthday treat each year and I started 3 years ago.
i cant praise this place enough. the treehouse rooms are so quiet and abundant with wild life, we fed the possums on the balcony at night whislt on the swing chair, they ome right up to you if you quiet and gentle and feed them bananas from your hamper you get on arrival,hand fed a crow named russell who knocks on your kitchen or balcony window/door.ever so funny. they have added anew cafe so you dont have to wander far,not that you would ever want to. a weekend stay with spa, wood carved doors and windows,led lights, mood music, a shower big enough for the whole rooster footy team(i wish)and breakfast of croissants brought to your room warm each morning. the hamper is brilliant and you can order all sorts of things like massages , food bbq meat to cook on the small barbie on the balcony. the views are awesome of the lakes the bush and surroundings. the staff are on hand but unobtrusive, nothing is a problem for them. it is pricey but for a special ocassion its well worth it. we have stayed in a lizard room and the playtpus penthouse. its ever so serene .clean fresh and you can go on beautiful quiet walks to the lake or in the gardens. the time goes way too fast and you dont want to leave, check it out. im a big fan of the place. george and his wife own the treehouses and property and are such lovely people

This place is always packed.the eclairs are wonderful with fresh cream and not mock which is gross. The pies are full of chunky beef and so many varieties.they now have a coffee section out on the footpath and the service is friendly .open very early and on sundays most of the day. Opposite the train station so can grab something if travelling.lovely place and great also in a morning walk to grab anything there. To eat that is

Dined here a few times and never disappointed. The coconut curry is fragrant and delicious. The entrees of spring rolls etc are very light and moorish but leave room for the main courses. Staff are unobtrusive but very attentive. Parking can be found along the street but its usually good to walk from the closest parking station. The lighting could be a bit better but good for a romantic dinner lol. Inside or outside seating. The menu is vast and tasty true thai style

Have the best seafood on the sunny coast in my opinion. They are the only ones i know that do the potato scallops perfectly and the calamari.light batter and thick cuts on the scallops. Calamari and the fish we get crumbed and its the best.tempura prawns and potato prawns are also yummy. Hamburgers. Are big and beautiful and tasty. They did move to the next block opposite Woolworth's outside on the main road. Easy to find, still have seats outside to dine, much more roomy shop than before. The quality is A1 . Always happy and friendly and good to see locals working there.place can get very busy so choose your time wisely. Clean store and lovely to sit outside in the sun on a cool day. Te seafood always tasted fresh and not that frozen non taste. Love the prawns and the share pack is a must. Fish chips scallops prawn and a bottle of drink for $23 for 2

This place is absolutely wonderful. Tucked away and only the locals know it but its about time everyone else did!
The garlic prawn pizza and the all meat one are my favourites. Lots of taste,thin crispy crust,lots and lots of topping,not skimpy this place. Yes it is a higher cost than normal pizza places but its well worth it,you will not be disappointed. Its our friday night special lol. The place is clean,plenty of parking and the owner is very friendly. Order on the phone and its usually ready in 20 min. Beware of peak times though as they do get very busy. Great place to sit and eat outside in the quiet as well

Had my car cleaned whilst i waited, the guys are friendly,though staff changes a fair bit,sit and have a coffee or go around the corner to the Chinese restaurant to have a quick take away lunch. Across the road are plenty of eateries.the guys are fairly quick washing cars and they always end up spotless and the windows streakless. Cafe inside is clean and neat and bright. Not a bad place to relax whilst waiting always done a good job
