The Worlds best coffee and gelato (at least in my mind). I love, love, love this place. Its always busy, but definitely worth ethe wait. The coffee is great and you cant beat the pistaccio gelato, unless of course you are looking at the hazelnut, or the chocolate or the ...... And they have lots of locations around Adelaide. Only downside is that they don't exist in Canberra :(
Been using this vet since I got my cats in 2004. The staff are lovely and really know their stuff. We have been using the same vet for the whole time. They also have boarding facilities and sell a good range of pet foods. They have extended opening hours (Mon - Fri 6:30pm, Sat 4:30pm and Sun 2pm) which really does help. I am definitely not changing vets, these guys really do care about the animals they treat, and understand that they are not just 'pets' but part of the family
Have started using Michael Hill as my first stop when looking for jewellery. The staff there are really pleasant and helpful, actually taking the time to try to find what you want. The stock is lovely and better quality than most of the other jewellery stores in the centre. All in all a pleasant shopping experience.
Delicious Thai food. We have been eating here, on and off, for a few years now. The food is always consistent. Love their Thai Beef Salad and the Pad Thai. Its a very relaxed restaurant, and children are welcome. Always good for a casual, good Thai meal.
Lovely little gift shop in the heart of Yarralumla. The stock here is really interesting, with lots of choices. They sell trinkets, some homewares, costume jewellery, toys, greeting cards .... Hope I haven't missed out on anything. A dangerous shop to browse in, I always end up with something I didn't know "I needed"! Love it.
Sharon did an awsome job on recovering an old favourite lounge suite. She came out to our house with stacks of fabric swatches. We immediately fell in love with some beautiful sheer fabric and had her do modern vertical blinds for our kitchen/family room and gorgeous sheer curtains and drapes for our lounge and dining rooms. The difference in our house is amazing. Sharon did a fantastic job.
THE BEST! Where can you go if you are Gluten Intolerant - and be able to eat ANYTHING in the bakery / cafe??? Look no further - Deeks has soleved the problem. Just realised too that Deeks products are now available at a huge range of locations, around Austrlaia, in addition to mailorder from their website. If you are in Canberra, dont miss out on visiting, if not, try their products. You don't have to be gluten intolerant to enjoy the food. It tastes amazing, nothing like the 'normal' tasteless, cardboard flavoured gluten free products you may be used to. Try the deserts, or the roasted onion and parmesan foccacia! You will be hooked.
Love this gorgeous beauty salon. They use Payot products. The staff here are amazing. This is really a little oasis in the city. Give them a call, they often have really good 'specials' on.
A wonderful, old fashioned jeweller and watchmaker in one of North Sydney's original terraces. This is a family business, which has been here since the 1950's. The current watchmaker, Ray, has been there for many, many years. He is a master craftsman. In addion to repairing the "unrepairable"(though this may take a little time) he sells watches and jewellery from this little Sydney jewel of a shop. For good old fashioned service with a smile and a chat you can't go past this little bit of Sydney history.
Great little supermarket. Has a wonderful range of everyday products plus delicious 'deli style' meats. Stocks Maggie Beers pates and pastes and a great selection of curry spice - which definitely does it for me.
