Very beautiful presentation and everything looks really delicious - but not much tastes as good as it looks which is very disappointing. However the Baclava is really delicious and the coffee is quite good

There's a few of these scattered around the city, and as the name suggests - they're good for when you're in a rush. The coffee is pretty good, but the food is only average. Although they have a large range.
Approximate cost: $15
I love this little bar, although I haven't been back since you were no longer able to smoke.
They have a small range of drinks and a small menu - pizzas, sandwiches, and snack food like nuts. Always friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. There's also a louder bar upstairs open on weekends which can be useful if you want to kick on later at night
Approximate cost: $20
I have never understood the fuss people make about this place - the coffee is average, the cakes are rarely fresh, and everything is overpriced!
I have been back a couple of times and each time leave disappointed.
Approximate cost: $15
Until recently, I worked in an office building directly opposite seedling, and had my coffee from here every morning. Always hot, they use a good bean, and they're environmentally conscious.
I wasn't a fan of much of their lunch food, but they did do some delicious slices and cakes.
Staff are very friendly and efficient. If you're planning on dining in, be aware that there isn't much space
Approximate cost: $15
I love Din Tai Fung. Their food is always hot, fresh and delicious - although you can sometimes be waiting a while, as they are very popular. you will often find a line at the door.
Not the cheapest place to get dumplings, but a huge range and a nice atmosphere.
When ordering, you are given a sheet of paper with the menu and tick the boxes for what you want to order.
Approximate cost: $25
This is one of my favourite places to get dumplings after (or during!) a night of drinks with friends.
Large serves for reasonable prices, lots of different items on the menu you can share with friends, and cheap drinks.
The chilli tofu is delicious and I have it every time I go!
Very few gluten free options which can be difficult for some people. Decent range of vegetarian options.
Approximate cost: $20
Delicious dumplings, large servings and very reasonably priced - with some good vegetarian options.
When we went, the staff were quite rude/disinterested, which was a bit off-putting, and we had to prompt them several times for water.
Prices were decent and we had plenty of leftovers to take with us when we had finished
Approximate cost: $15
I have been once, and had delivery on another occasion. The food was quite good and they allow BYO - although drinks are also quite reasonably priced if bought there.
When dining in, the food was fresh, hot and very good. Although when I had it as a delivery I found it was nowhere near as good - so I would likely go back, but will probably never have it delivered again
Approximate cost: $25
A small cafe with a limited but delicious menu. Family owned, and the owners are delightfully polite, helpful and friendly.
The food is served hot and fresh and is delicious - especially their breakfast menu. Really great coffee served in interesting mugs.
