This would have to be one of the poorer Quest apartments that we have stayed with. Our rooms were located across the road from the office and offered no lift to the top floor, the room itself was old, linen discolored from over washing. The staff were kind and helpful and it was priced decently for 3 adults but definitely not the standard we have come to expect in the past
Wow where do I start, the store itself is amazing, an old house turned shop. Each room has its own theme and is heavily packed with incredible antiques and gimmicks (some rooms are too packed it becomes difficult to move)
It is not a family friendly environment with so many items specifically tailored to a childs interest yet a massive price tag you certainly don't want children touching and accidentally breaking something. Because of the value of some items staff often follow you around the store making you feel criminal like and even at the times we have made purchases they still havent been amazingly friendly (we spent over $500)
Aside from the fact that you can't get a coffee or hot drink with your purchase they offer a great range of delicious treats. For a small bakery they do well to provide great tasting eclairs and fudges and yummy bacon and cheese pull apart
Draculas may not be an affordable night out but it is worth every cent. The food is always delicious even for my picky standards and the entertainment is exceptional. All the staff are heavily in character and enjoyable to chat with, the show is fine tuned and always a great laugh.
Gourlay's has the best range of boiled lollies I can find in the Launceston region. I do enjoy the acid drops, but often buy a mixed bag of lollies. They do also offer chocolate and more mainstream lollies. Service is okay but staff don't seem passionate about the service they give.
A fantastic little cafe that seems loyal not only to their customers but staff too. The store is always clean and inviting and staff welcoming and attentive. The prices are a little on the top end scale for a cafe but the food is lovely.
Great tasting food, i love the cakes and slices made here (maybe a little too much) and the breads are lovely and so much nicer than supermarket loaves. Service can be a little slow on weekends and staff whilst not rude aren't enthusiastic. Unfortunately like most things you pay for what you get and because of the great quality they are rather expensive
Sandwiches prepared here are always fresh and tasty, the hot food on occasion can be left sitting for a while, but if you order of the menu its always prepared fresh. They make lovely hot drinks and milkshakes. reasonable prices
A lovely small town hairdressers, with friendly staff. the store seems to be old and not recently renovated but they do offer or current trends and services. they are extremely affordable (well for mens cuts any way)
A quiet small swim school that is always kept extremely warm, the pool is small but not over crowded with class sizes. The teachers are lovely and don't push the children too hard but do push enough to see development.
