Crust definitely use good quality ingredients and have some unique and delicious pizzas. Not all the toppings are that successful though - some try to hard to be different and end up being weird and boring. Forget about the 'tick pizzas' - they're really bland - pizza isn't supposed to be healthy! Stick to the more 'traditional' meat pizzas and the yummy cheese calzone. Delivery is always pretty prompt.

This little restaurant has been here for ages and is very popular. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is generally very good, although a few dishes like the Rendang could use some fine tuning. The crispy eggplant is awesome, as are the gado-gado, satay and whole fish with sambal. Their kangkong belachan is very pungent, if you like that (I do). Try the avocado shake!

How can you not love the Randwick Ritz? Its a classic Art Deco building with loads of charm. Retro interiors, popcorn all over the floor - it feels just like a proper old fashioned movie theatre experience. Its small, so there's normally just a brief selection of mainstream movies on offer, but the tickets are the cheapest around so you can't complain. The snack bar is great with lots of yummy stuff made in-house. The bar upstairs is fantastic for a pre/post movie drink overlooking The Spot, but the food is average at best.

The Clovelly Hotel has a great, unpretentious beachside atmosphere. Great for dinner and drinks or a lazy Sunday afternoon outside in the sun. The meals are pricier than average but of a consistent high quality. These are proper PUB meals in big PUB servings, like they should be! No piddly meals hiding under a pile of soggy chips here! Service is OK, and different prices at the different bars is annoying, but this place is all about the awesome location and the relaxed vibe - you can just walk right in after a swim and enjoy a cold beer.
