It is so close to university (UNSW) and so much cheaper ($9) so it's great for students to hang out. It has the latest blockbusters for the same cheap prices.
It's just great. You can eat at Randwick beforehand and catch a flick with your date/friends.

This is an old beautifully fully restored cinema, in the heart of Randwick junction ... loads of little cafes to eat prior to a movie or a supper after your movie.
Parking is ok on street or close by cinema.
Prices are brilliants and always plenty of viewing times to choose from ... you will love it!

Perfect location as is surrounded by a selection of great cafes and restaurant for nice meal before. They have real good deal when you 'Like' them on Facebook you can get cheap tickets, mine was only $8. Although out of city at that price it's still good value.

While the cinema is a little run-down, the Ritz is one of my faves. It has that real community feel. And the prices are much cheaper than the big cinema chains. I much prefer the intimacy of this cinema.

I've been going to the Ritz for years and will keep returning for the cheap tickets and location - all those restaurants around The Spot allow for a great pre-movie dinner.

A great little theater. It has a lot of character and the tickets are much more reasonably priced. Located in the Randwick Spot so there are plenty of places to eat!

The cinemas are smaller but the cheaper movie tickets are the best. They are much cheaper than other cinemas in the area. It is in a local spot so you can have dinner at any of the restaurants that surround it.

Recently adding a carpark next door, makes it even easier to get to...very well priced movie tickets, cheaper than the movie chains with several screens available.

How can you not love the Randwick Ritz? Its a classic Art Deco building with loads of charm. Retro interiors, popcorn all over the floor - it feels just like a proper old fashioned movie theatre experience. Its small, so there's normally just a brief selection of mainstream movies on offer, but the tickets are the cheapest around so you can't complain. The snack bar is great with lots of yummy stuff made in-house. The bar upstairs is fantastic for a pre/post movie drink overlooking The Spot, but the food is average at best.

The cinema to go to if you want that extra special experience for a film that is beyond the average. The ambience is so much better than the chain cinema complexes and there is plenty of dining choices nearby.

i love the spot (the location) and the ambience of the spot is just great...especially at night time. randwick ritz reminds me of an old cinema back in the 1900's along with its decoration and lightings. it's just splendid! evenmore, the price they charge is cheaper than hoyts or greaterunion or events or reading cinemas.

The ritz has been around for many years. Located in the Spot, it provides a nice trip back into the olden days with a revamped old cinema. The pricing, waiting areas and shop options 'fit' and there are plenty of nice eating options adjacent.

Randwick Ritz is a great smaller movie complex that shows current movies at really good prices. It's older style too so it has a charm that newer cinemas just don't have.

One of the best family cinemas around and reinforced my opinion recently when we watched a movie in a clean and friendly environment. Cheap as chips and great service. Parking is an issue around the area.

Why pay $15 for a movie when you can get the same experience for much less? The Ritz has all the newest movies, $11 for adults, and located on the Spot in Randwick there's a huge variety of restaurants nearby to pick up a meal before or after.

It's under $10 for all the tickets, and the cinema has recently been upgraded with a bar and small cafe. It is well maintained and usually not overpopulated. Finding a parking spot is problematic during peak times, but there is free parking a-plenty in the surrounding streets.
