My favorite exhibit at the Melbourne Aquarium is "A Penguins World Antarctica", the children xhriek with delight when they see the beautiful penguins. The freshwater predators and the turtle feed is marvelous too. It is very educational so we took our time absorbing and taking it all in. A great way to spend the day.

You sure do experience a world of entertainment at Crown casino. I am in awe of the decor, especially the main foyer and the foyer with the amazing light & music. So many good restaurants to choose from, gaming rooms and the shopping is brilliant. A must to go to if you are in Melbourne.

We had a bike repaired here and the service was top notch. They rang us when it was ready to be picked up, and they did a brilliant job. The store has amazing products, not only bikes for everyday use but professional as well...and all the gear you can imagine. Thoroughly trust these guys with our bikes.

I go here to pick up all sorts of items (make-up, body lotion, socks, souvenirs for my relatives overseas, kitchen ware... and trinkets). You can't miss it if you are in the street, they have a loud speaker spruiking their wares and you can't help go in for a look. So cheap, and it's amazing what you will find in there. It is Cash only, as they only have 2 cash registers (most times only 1 open) and during holiday season there is a que to pay for goods. Worth a look!

The sales assistant in this store was so friendly, we got chatting about life and all sorts of things, a breath of fresh air to find such openness in a staff member. I walked out with a beautiful lamp, mosaic plate and a jewellery box at very discounted prices. Totally enjoyed my experience there.

I have bought so many wonderful genuine, first quality, current season merchandise items in this store, mostly designer brands, mens & womens clothing and undergarments, girls clothing and sleepwear, and there are also some lovely homewares items at the counter. I have saved a fortune shopping here, and the store is so easy to walk around.

This is a beautiful resort for a holiday or romantic getaway. The comfortable 1 bedroom apartments have spectacular ocean views (Main Beach across the road), pool, heated spa, barbecue area and even a kitchen in the apartments. Very clean and modern, not far from Seaworld, and the cafe society just down the road in Tedder Ave is very handy.

Australia Zoo is an amazing place, and the croc show was so exciting and unbelieveable. I was lucky enough to go one day years ago (as my friend from New York was pestering me that she wanted to see the Crocodile Man), and could you believe our luck .. he was there. His wife & children are still doing a great job out there keeping his legacy alive. I got too close when feeding a goose (or something) and it snapped my face in its beak... lol ... that will teach me for getting so excited about the animals there.

This is such a beautiful place to visit, to try the wines, to have a homestead picnic basket by the river (with turtles in it) or on the verandah which includes the food (deli items, cheese, bread and salads), rug, glasses and crockery. We were there on a Sunday and they had a band under the rotundra, it was so peaceful and enjoyable. I highly recommend the Silky Oak Liqueur Muscat (hints of jasmine & lychees)... so divine.

You can't miss this on the Bruce Highway, a quirky shaped pub on the side of the road. It has an interesting history (aboriginals called it the place of good drink), and it has a caricature appearance, and has Australian eclectic displays and cartoons inside. Blueys bar & grill is upstairs, a good menu which changes regularly. A nice day out for the family.
