I have had at times seen Bill, who is a skilled & experienced psychotherapist & hypnotherapist, always with great results. He is a non judgmental & kind person who can get to the heart of issues & have you leaving there feeling much more positive, relaxed & hopeful. I find Hypnotherapy particularly helpful & effective & he is very good at this. He exudes confidence & calmness - someone you can trust & feel at ease with.
I take my daughter to this local hairdresser all the time. She is very reasonably priced & lovely with kids. My daughter was very scared & nervous about getting her first haircut, but here she is happy & comfortable & chats away to the hairdresser happily. You will need to book about a week in advance, especially if you want an after school appointment time or weekend time.
This builder built our house extension about 4 years ago. He is a very skilled & experienced carpenter by trade & actually works on the job himself a great deal of the time. He was very reasonably priced & we especially liked him because he is honest & up front about everything, trustworthy & not at all dodgy. I have heard some builder horror stories from friends before, so this guy is a diamond. He also ran the job exactly on time as per the contract. We were back in our house the exact day he said we would be. Now that in itself was pretty amazing! I would definitely use his services again.
I find this is one local doctor's practice where I can get an appointment fairly quickly, rather than having to wait days. If the appointment is for a sick child say so as they may be able to squeeze you in quicker. Bulk billing for health care card holders & children, & also on occasion for follow up visits for adults. They also have a nurse on staff for some tests & injections, rather than having to wait to see a doctor.
Somewhere I stumbled across whilst looking everywhere for a part for my dryer a few years back. You can ring them up to check if they have the part you are after. They stock bits & pieces for all appliances, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers..etc. There parts are always good value & they can order in bits you need if they don't have them. They haven';t let me down yet!
I had a Colourbond fence installed a few months ago. Harry was really friendly, honest & helpful & also did the installation himself very efficiently & swiftly. Also at a very reasonable rate, compared to the other quotes I had received for the same fence. I would definitely use him again.
A great little cosy restaurant/cafe, which used to be a florist called Carson's Lounge for a very long time, hence the name. Recently changed management, it is now a pretty special dining experience, with really interesting dishes on offer, not your average kind of fare. Friendly & knowledgeable staff & really nice food.
A lovely little restaurant with a seaside them. A boat shaped wooden bar & the option of sitting outside in warmer weather on beautiful chunky wooden tables. Consistently good food & service & friendly staff. An excellent choice of more casual snacky foods & substantial meals or tasty wood fired pizzas.
Great meals & friendly expert service. A real cut above as far as pub's go. They offer the traditional pub fare - done beautifully & substantially, but also other interesting options. Must book in peak times as it gets very busy, & when it is busy it also tends to be very noisy unfortunately.
A great steak is to be had at this pub. It is not your ordinary kind of pub, it's very upmarket & expect the bill to reflect that. They do a great meal though, something special. Gorgeous interiors, very elegant.
