I've become a regular customer of their over the years. My family enjoys going there on Saturday for lunch. They always give us good service.
The only complaint I have is that sometimes I find their food a bit too oil. But hey, isn't that all Asian food. Their boss always come out and greet my family with a smile and tell us whats fresh for today and what is the best to order. I really like the personalized service there. Won't break your budget!

Why does anyone even like this place??

The staff were abusive, the food was shocking and the coffee was burnt. When we voice our opinions we were undermined and reprimanded. For the price we paid we expected better. I for one would NEVER be going back there again and I'll be an ongoing bad advocate for this business.

However this was a few months ago and they may have changed their culture and improved on there service by now. I really hope they have but you'll never find me going there again.

I finally got a chance to go and try Teppanyaki for the first time so I was super excited when I arrived. My friends did most of the ordering as I sat down patiently and waited. It was a quiet weekday and we didn't mind waiting a bit for the chef to come and do his performance. As I was waiting I asked the wait staff for various sauces and drink and I don't think they understood me. They brought me over the wrong drink 3 times.
When I kept on reminding them that we were still waiting on certain drinks and sauces they just grunted and indicated that it was coming. I was disappointed that it took 45 mins a simple OJ to come.

The chef was more action then substance as we received very little food for the price paid. Disappointing and WILL NOT be returning EVER!!

I came here with 4 girl friends of mine. We initially wanted to have some hot pot but the place was closed for lunch so we ended up here.
There wasn't many pictures of the food in the menu so we just had to go by the the description. We each order a dish to share.
The portion came out very big which was awesome. We order this stir fry lamb dish which had way too much cumin to even taste the lamb. We ended up ordering shallot pancake and some rice just to compensate for the saltiness of all the dishes. It wasn't out taste. We wont be heading there again anytime soon.

I have never tasted such chilly hot pot in my life. I went there with a bestie of mine and she was wanting to try some a new restaurant that she hasn't tried before in the area. She choose this one because it layer out was quite nice and we've only had hot pot once or twice in our lives.

As soon as we sat down they gave us a menu of all the options they had for the soup, meat, veggies and so forth. We both had always gone for the chicken soup in the past so we decided to go for mild chilly this time to try it out. We asked the staff there and he said it was ok, wasnt too chilly at all. So we were continue ordering. We both order a large beer each and chatted while we waited.
The food came out pretty fast from the kitchen which was good. I started cooking the meat and when it was done I handed her son and I place some in my bowl. As soon as she had a bite she drowned down half a bottle of beer. I tired it myself and figure and did the exact same thing.

We called over the waiter and said that this was too hot and if they could give us a new pot of soup. He told us that he would need to charge us for a new pot altogether. We had no choice so had to agree. When the soup came out we continue eating but the taste buds on our tongue were dead so we weren't happy. Even after we finished we still couldn't really feel our tongue.

Maybe this is how traditional Chinese people like to eat but definitely not us. Gotta be care when they say "not too chilly" it means NOT to chilly for them.

When I go into a BBQ shop as long as I like their roast duck everything else is compromised. Their duck there is roasted to perfect, not too oil, not too burnt but crispy and succulent enough to make you wanting more. I ate duck for a whole week non stop.

Now this place isn't prefect. I haven't tired their roast pork so I can't comment on that. I have however, tired their bbq pork and that is very so so for me. It was a bit dry and the piece I got was way too fatty.

Over all though I would definitely be visiting them again for their Duck and their service was too bad. The place look clean and I was serviced as soon as I walked in.

I've walked pass this shop a few times before I had the courage to go inside and try it out. I really wanted to do the permanent straightening for my hair. My hair is not overly fizzy but I have had my hair beached blond in the past and dyed back to brown. So my hair is pretty brittle.

I told them about my hair and they said that it was going to be a big job because my hair is fairly weak. They were upfront about how some of my hair would break and that my hair might not be able to take the chemicals they needed to put in. They can see I was quite disappointed and wanting to keep their client smiling the staff I spoke to spoke to another more senior hairdresser and they said that they would adjust according the chemicals and do their best with my hair.

It turned out a lot better than I expected. It is pricey but I was willing to pay to make my hair feel and look healthier. I would definitely be going back. I even left my contact details with them for further follow up calls.

I've walked past it a few times on my way to my friends house but I've never been inside the restaurant before. From the looks of the outside its quite small and simple.
My friend and I have order from that place a few times because they do delivery to the nearby suburbs and their always prompt to delivery and the delivery man is always friendly. They never seem overly business due to their smiling nature. I wouldn't say this place is average. Their Naan isn't as great as other places I have tasted. They are eager to please though so you ask for little things here and there like, more meat or less oil. But overall taste doesn't change. Hence that's why I'm still rating it average.

Quality - Food wasn't good great, choices were little. Only thing good was they had both hot pot and bbq skewers so I had the option of both. But still minimal choices for both
Service - Staff were slow, rude and no eye contact whilst talking.
Value - For that price I can pay for go somewhere else with better food
Overall - Not recommended, Ashfield has at least 20 different restaurant. Chances of you picking a better restaurant is extremely high.

This place has recently done a renovation so my partner and I decided to come here for dinner the other night. Even though the place look fabulous now, the service and the food here is still average.
Ashfield has a lot of Asian food. I wouldn't rate this one as one of the best tasting, instead I would rate it as one of the better looking ones. The dumplings here are still very oily and the staff looked like they didn't want to be there. Still a lot of room for improvement.
