Yummmmmmy!! I had the mixed grill which had seafood and red meat and chicken - was so delicious I scraped the plate! It was a bit more expensive than the usual cafe food, but the meals were quite large and the atmosphere was great. Recommended :)
Food was delicious the first time we went there and ordered a la carte, but the second time we went with a group of friends we got the banquet. Not as good I'm afraid, the food was a lot more "generic" and tasted like it had been preprepared. This place does a roaring takeaway, often to the detriment of the restaurant patrons. So I would definitely return back there bt would order mains off the menu instead of the banquet.
Great range of books, although would like to see a few more little dinky gift type books here. Staff are helpful - always willing to look through the shelves to find something or suggest books for gifts. Seems a lot more personal now it isn't Angus and Robertson, I like to support the local small business :)
Beautiful, quality stock. SO much variety, and more like a boutique gift shop than just a newsagency. Have bought quite a lot of lovely gifts from here - free giftwrapping is a bonus. Easy to spend an hour just browsing through the huge range of jewellery!
A little on the dear side, but so well worth the money. These flowers always last at least 2 weeks, and are obviously bought fresh from the markets. There is a good variety, and the staff are very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended!!
Recently changed hands, staff that are left there always dress inappropriately for a cafe-very short skirts and low cut tops. The new manager seems lovely, really nice coffee and good food. Hopefully will pick up as this cafe has loads of potential!
Could spend hours browsing in here :) There is anything you could imagine, from the kitchen sink to a 2 storey high parisian lamp post to a life size cycling clown. Bric a brac galore, lovely staff, my kind of shop
So handy to have the supplies in bulk so close to home! There is a good range, and the delivery service had been great for mulch etc in the garden. They are comparative in price, if a bit cheaper than their competitor across the road, not sure how they both survive but I have been equally happy to go either place
Great range of landscape supplies and garden stuff. The staff are really frindly and helpful. They have firewood that we buy each winter, you can buy it per kilo on the weigh bridge so it is much cheaper than the bags you can buy at bunnings.
Pretty good for kids haircuts - reasonable prices for school age kids. The staff are upbeat and fun which appeals to the kids. I have found the staff to be a bit too pre-occupied with their own clients sometimes to offer a seat and a drink, especially when they are running late I think it's a bit rude. But we have been happy there, loud music, loads of young fun staff. Well done
