I wouldn't ever go anywhere else for my gorgeous dogs. The vets are so caring and compassionate, they seem to love their jobs and love the animals. I have had a few issues with my dogs, but they have always talked out the different options with me and even provided a shoulder to cry on.

Fabulous jewellers in Southgate shopping centre. The ladies are lovely and they stock a huge range of Pandora beads. The rewards card for Pandora beads is a nice touch too. They also stock a lovely range of quality items, have given my husband hints many a time about their beautiful diamond earrings. Still waiting...

This place is the only place to go for alterations. They are very reasonably priced - about $8 to $10 per hem. They have altered my clothes on more than one occassion too - have bought dresses off ebay and not been quite happy with the shape, length or fit. I have never paid more than $20!! They will also make sport trackpants to fit. A very useful service when you have tiny kids like mine.

Ah, the ultimate shop for blokes gifts. Men are so hard to buy for sometimes - you cant just buy them a bunch of flowers and a box of choccies!! This shop has such a good range of funny gifts and collectables, most in that standard "gift" price range. Has saved my backside for a couple of fathers days, that's for sure :)

The best doctors surgery I have been to! Really clean, plenty of doctors to cater for emergencies and they dont rush you in and out in 2 seconds. The doctors are caring and take the time to talk to you about your issues. Wouldnt go anywhere else

Much better since they renovated the gym area. Still feels a bit dated, especially compared to other gyms like genesis. BUT, as a gym/rec centre, it has everything you could need. There is a really good range of sports for adults and kids - boot camp on a monday for the littles is really good fun for them. I just wish the creche had longer hours...

Didn't mind this cafe - not the best but not the worst. Food is reasonably priced and there is plenty of seating. The staff are usually quite friendly and are happy to help a frazzled mum with young children (me!!)

This is a great example of a cafe for mine. Excellent food - pasta, pizza and some mains, great service and a bright vibrant atmosphere. Enough tables so there usually isn't too much trouble getting in, but I have never been in there when it has been dead quiet. Very popular "catch up for a glass of wine" spot. PS - try the margarita pizza...YUM!!!

Good for families with small chilren as there is a large undercover playground. Always a winner with my kids :) Food was not spectacular, but certainly nothing to complain about. I also like the lounge area in the front bar - good for meeting friends for a casual drink

Very pricey meals, good for special occassions and not so much for families. We had the seafood boulliabaisse for 2, loved the theatre of the soup pot coming to the table and being served out there. Lovely intimate atmosphere, beautiful views over glenelg beach.
