Another Italian club with a scilian flavour to it. Attend a function on Saturday night and the place was very pleasant in decor and the facilities were as good as many of these clubs. The hall is available for hire for weddings, birthdays or any function. They also have on the last Sunday of every month a Dinner Dance, where for $25 you get a 4 course dinner commencing at 6.00 pm. Of course there is music and drinks available at the bar.
Another Italian Function centre, which is a little out dated but still caters for weddings, conferences, birthdays etc. They have updated the place with the Osteria which is open to the general public. Keeping in tradition with this part of Italy they have on the last Sunday of each month a specialty dish of Quail and polenta. Also they have Bi monthly Friday Gnocchi night where a plate of homemade Gnocchi is offered with coffee and a continental cake for $12.
I was invited by a friend to do some irish dancing one night and it was so much fun. This place has the feel of ireland and it's very warm and friendly. I have also had my club do it's meetings there and found the food and beverages at really good rates. The place is always doing something so suggest you check out their agenda. Friday nights is Members nights too.
This place has been around for a long time and I have attended some great functions here. The appealing thing is the German cuisine and of course the beer. Unlike the Italian clubs this is a German Club on it's own and is really authentic. You can book the place an they are forever organizing different activities there.
Bought some skin products at cheap price and at the moment they have an up to 70% off sale. They have lots of great gifts and it's ideal for that something different. Also conveniently located in the city.
Another Reception Hall which can be booked for all sorts of functions such as weddings, birthdays, conferences, club meets etc. This place also has an adjoining Bocce facility. This place is renowned more for their pizzas and has a great community spirit about it.
This place is nestled in Payneham and is avaliable for Weddings, Birthdays, club or special occasions. The meals are reasonable and they have Pizza nights. Not as good as other places but is central and not too bad as far as price is concerned.
Great authentic place that you can book your wedding, birthday club event. This place does a pensioner lunch day every month, and also has a regular Sunday meal night where food is under $20 and has a 60/40 band. Not as good as the MArche Club, but one of the better Italian Clubs of Adelaide.
Brilliant place that you can book for your wedding, birthday or just go there on Sundays to enjoy a traditional meal and the price is very cheap(ie main meal can be up to $20.) and they have a 60/40 band. The other thing this place does is have a Pasta night Fridays where they serve so many styles of pasta and it's really cheap.
Tried this news agency and whilst I purchased some magazines, the store was ok, but really didn't more than other news agencies and the service was very slow.
