Cathy is my husband's optometrist. We highly recommend her, especially if you work in the city. She is a lovely person, very efficient, great with eye testing and explanations. She is very patient. She has a wide range of frames which are excellent value. Fast turnaround. Great service.
I love this place - we go every week for cake and coffee. Great atmosphere, from a coffee date to a larger group. delicious cakes. The best part is you can have as much or as little as you want because they charge per gram. This means you can try a bit of several cakes - solving the age old dilemma of which one to buy. It's not the cheapest cake shop compared to takeaway cakes, but compared to most cafes it's excellent value. I feel like a child in a candy store - only I'm a grown up and they're cakes!

this place has great modern mediterranean food. it is reasonably priced with large portions. it is often crowded, so book if you have a large crowd.
went here for a team lunch. the food is modern australia. it is done quite well. the servings are large and the food is fresh. there is nothing fancy, and it is not cheap, but i would return.
this is a standard asian fabric store. not bad if you live locally, but compared to say cabramatta, it is not quite as cheap but similar in quality and range.
we are frequent fliers of several of the bavarian bier cafes, mostly because there are plenty of good beers for my husband and delicious food for me. food is rich, hearty and huge, so bring a good appetite.
the view from this tiny hidden cafe is spectacular. prices are reasonable considering the location. food is light and tasty. plus you can go check out the art afterwards
great atmosphere with a huge variety of belgian beers, some quite unusual. food is not bad. as with many city pubs it can get crowded at times. one way around this is to book a table for dinner.
this is a great place for a lazy sunday afternoon in summer. its a heard to beat view of sydney harbour. drinks are not cheap, but average for this sort of establishment.
