After being recommended by one of my other qualified tradesmen I started using Shane Smillie of Smillie Electrical Services for the past number of complete renovation residential projects.

As project manager for residential projects my project timeline can be very tight. It is imperative that my trades work well in a variety of different environments and typically while other trades are onsite also doing their own individual works. This can prove stressful for every trade but Shane and his team have always stepped up to the plate and has never let me down.

On every occasion Shane has arrived on time and carried out the agreed scope of works within my specified timeline for each and every stage without delay.

Shane has, for each project engaged to work on, has left a positive lasting impression with my clients and other trades.

My other trades have, more than once, commented on Shane's exceptional workmanship, chilled manner and his willingness to assist and/or work around others where necessary... which is crucial.

Shane works well independently. I have no hesitation to leave him onsite to complete scope of works to a high standard as per my expectations and am confident at all times that the scope of works to be completed for each stage will be done in the required timeline, without me having to be onsite to review his works.

I have no hesitation in recommending his services for my DIY clients as he has proven himself to be, at all times, considerate for my clients' personal needs and respects a clients' property; he is polite at all times; honest and reliable. His rates are fair and competitive based on his exceptional skill and expertise.

For renovation projects which I manage for individual clients then, apart from the fact he always allows sufficient time after each day to clean up his own mess (which is really important if a client resides onsite during a renovation), he is respectful; offer solutions to underlying electrical issues that may not be transparent until works commence; nothing ever seems to be a hassle and always puts in 100% if he knows my timeline is compromised. Most importantly his expertise in this field is unsurpassed.

I have high standards and expectations both for workmanship and a trades' character (which ultimately reflects for my business) and I can't fault Shane or his team in any way so, in essence, highly recommend his service for any of your electrical needs.
