WARNING! I have been a member 51 years and have never had a call out. My daughter can use the service on one vehicle which broke down out of Nhulunbuy,NT, without phone coverage and accepted a tow to a diesel workshop instead of leaving it to be trashed and burnt out. Because she did not contact RACV to arrange towing, she could not apply for up to $2,400 for accomodation and hire car. So READ the fine print. I pay over $4K to RACV Ins for home and contents and 4 vehicles. I will be shopping around with n future.
