the pavillion great place to chill out for drinks and a night out with friends in george st,reasonable price meals and drinks especially lunch time nights prices go a little high but still good,if u want to have a great pool game come here but line up very early.i had a bloody mary it was nice

a friend of mine recommended the bank hotel in newtown my bus stops few metres from it which is great,i had a thai dish downstaires which was nice drinks reasonable price they have an outdoor area which is nice for summer at night they have bouncers as it gets busy with diners and drinkers good place to meet friends

great bar in newtown,i got off newtown train station and went to zanzibar close to station and great place to meet friends,there is a rooftop bar which is great in summer drinks very pricey so its a place to go for a special night out,its crazy busy at night at times u cant move as there are so many people especially friday nites

the grace hotel is a beautiful hotel with beautiful homely surroundings its in the bottom side of york street great range of coffee and desserts to die for.great service busy with business men,i stayed 2 nights as i found great special on the net,the room is beautiful a double bed and a good size,hotel close to all amnties in town like circular quay,haymarket,will stay again soon

went to heritage hotel pub to meet up with a few friends a very busy place and a great meeting place,pricey menu and drinks but it had a special board of nibbles to have with your drinks especially imported beers,also great wedges served with sweet chilli sauce and sour cream great as a nibbley with beer,great to take friends from out of town

one day i was walking through hunter st shopping centre and saw eat away cafe i stopped for early afternoon teaa and had a coffee and slice,both were nice they have friendly staff serve with a smile,the menu very reasonable for town will stop over again when near hunter conection

a new place to go to in the rocks area is mca cafe in the contempary art centre,coffee is good has a nice aroma to it has some desserts,a very pricey menu because of the location and view,service like fine dinning resturant very professional

every corner u turn to is pie face i went to the one in york street,i had a coffee was ok but i had the vegetarian pie with mashed potatoe ,peas and gravy its a nice winter meal,they hve great range of chicken and beef pies but pricey

when i feel like pasta for lunch i go ton pasta pantry in mlc centre.i had a long black coffee it was smooth tasre compared to other places i go,i have also a cabarnaa pasta which is nice and creamy and there alot of range of pasta dishes to choose from busy place at lunch
