My friend and I decided to try something a bit special one weekend. We came to this French Restaurant which was quite fully booked for dinner, but they were able to let us have an early dinner; and informed us of the time that we have to finish our meals there due to the high turnover (which I can totally understand). I ordered the beef cheeks with mash potato. It was very filling, but the sauce was a bit too heavy for me. My friend's pork fillet dish looked great with the different colored vegetables on it. The prices were on the high side. Though we already expected that before getting there, we were hoping to get a nice seafood meal with the similar prices. Anyway, good to have experienced some fine dining once in a life time!

First time to be here last Sunday (Mother's Day). Many chairs were already reserved at lunch time, so we had to sit in the pretty hot sun. I ordered a hot chocolate, and a braised beef pie with sprinkled cardamon pods on top - which made it extra special. My friend ordered the bread & butter pudding and the size of it was very generous, with custard poured onto the side. Food overall were very fresh, really enjoyed it.

For $2.99, you can get a hot breakfast with egg, sausage, bacon, tomato and hushbrown - everyday until 11 am. How good is that? Other meals a cheap as well. Join as a Ikea Family member and the some meals are even discounted! I thoroughly enjoyed the meat ball with potato mash, the sauce is just amazing. Yum!

It is a lovely place to dine here on a Sunday, enjoying the view of Maryborough River and see the train goes pass. Meals are a bit pricy. But even just ordering a hot chocolate and a sweet pie, sit back and relax - it is a real nice experience.

Tried the classic beefy pie and shared with a friend. The pie is so fresh and hot. Meat taste real not processed. Service is prompt. It's my favourite place to stop by when driving on the Bruce Highway.

I ordered a stir fry meat & veg one night on the weekdays. Service was prompt and friendly. The meals came out quite quickly because there weren't many people dining on the night. The savoury sauce was outstanding. It was my first time ever to try deep fried ice-cream, as they have it as a dessert menu. The ice-cream ball was huge! Look forward to try other meals next time.

This place is like a big hall/pub. Its location is very handy, as it is on the way from Maryborough to Hervey Bay, or vice versa. Unfortunately, there isn't any air-conditioning inside, so not too ideal to go in the summer time. The meals are very generous in portion size. Quality is reasonable given the prices of the meals a are not costly. I heard there is recent new management. Will try again soon.

My colleague and I had takeaway a few nights ago at this place. We shared the combination entree (pieces of chicken, sausage and fish), the Lamb Korma and spinach & cheese flavoured Naan bread. The first dish was disappointing. All the individual pieces were deep fried in some strange batter and didn't taste nice. The lamb korma though was just beautifully soft, with the mildest curry sauce (as per our request). My favourite was that warm naan bread - only $4 and it was a pretty big piece of bread. Definitely will try other flavoured naan bread next time!

I had the hot signature glass jelly dessert. It was a huge bowl. I was very surprised to see that dessert came it like a 'black thick soup'. But realised that the glass jelly was melted under heat, hence the funny and unexpected appearance. Towards the end, the glass jelly started to cool down and form like jelly again. I like those small chewy mochi in various colours to give the dessert some texture. Service was extremely quick, probably because we finished dinner early and so there were not many people there, even on the Saturday.

Approximate cost: $6.00
