I took my young son here for a trim and the haircut was awful, uneven and overpriced.
At the time I was just popping past and they didn't seem all that busy so I asked if there was much of a wait to get the trim for him and the girl indicated that it would only be a few minutes. My 2 year old was popped on the chair and under a cape, then we waited nearly 15 minutes with me trying to distract him to keep him wanting to be there in the chair. I really would have preferred to have been told that the wait was 15 minutes and then I could walk have walked around with him and came back.
The girl that cut his hair was nice enough but seemed to have no training in cutting male hair, or childrens hair for that matter.

Just needed a quick trim and was able to get an appointment at short notice. Salon comes across as neat and "no frills", lot's of stuff going on with the decor and the fish etc but the staff were friendly and I got the trim I needed. They weren't terrible but I have no plans to return.

Thoroughly impressed with the service provided. I needed a very last minute appointment when heavily pregnant and they were so accommodating to fit me in and make me comfortable. Excellent waxing services in a calming environment. Prices are about average for the services and location.

Fun little shop selling "old school" and hard to find lollies as well as British and American Candy. Can be a little bit expensive, but the products are all good quality and the service is charming. The little ride on toy out the front could use some regular maintenance - definitely don't bother sticking a coin in it and expecting a ride!

This has to be hands down one of my favourite restaurants to go to in the Hunter Valley. The food is always amazing and so well presented and the service staff happily go out of their way to make an amazing dining experience. I recently took a 7 month old baby there and they were so accommodating with locating us a suitable place to sit and organising a highchair. I love sitting out on the verandah for lunch as the view and fresh air is divine. Expensive but well worth it!

Great variety in store! There is so much that it's overwhelming. Unfortunately their premium location does mean that prices seem a bit inflated for the "tourists" and because of the tourists there is usually a bit of a wait when I have been there. Otherwise the cheese and olives are amazing and I try to get there whenever I am in the area.

Have purchased from here a number of times and am always happy with the speed of the order and the quality of the items purchased. Prices are excellent and better than shopping at the big stores sometimes.

This cinema has been around since I was a teenager! Of course it is never going to directly compare to one of the bigger chain cinemas but it's nice to have an option closer to home compared to travelling in to Newcastle. The decor itself is sort of dated and the seats are getting old but I really appreciate the availability of a crying room which is the only way I can convince my husband to come to a movie with myself and our little one. Tickets are reasonably priced, snacks less so, sound and picture quality are satisfactory.

Certainly a long time favourite - I remember coming here with my parents over 20 years ago. This is a seafood restaurant and i am not an eater of seafood so the menu options are really quite limited but we go because my husband enjoys it. The views are beautiful and the ambience is pleasant. Staff are generally attentive providing the restaurant is not too busy.

Used this solicitor for conveyancing services during the purchase of some land. I was happy with the solicitor we dealt with who was knowledgable and explained information to us about our land purchase. She dealt with our mortgage broker regarding all the finer details for settlement and made the process smooth. However - it was only after making a referral for a family member to the same practice using a different solicitor that my opinion changes and I find the advice and information that was given to this family member to be bizarre and misinformed.
