I've been here a number of times and i'm addicted! The food is delicious and really cheap. The service is not really that crash hot but they're really sweet people so that makes up for it. Their take away menus usually have great specials as well and they dont make you feel like a tight ass when you use them! Always busy.
Loved it! Went in on a Sunday afternoon for a drink and to suss the place out. It is gorgeous! Very english and old school at the same time. Great friendly bar staff, food menu looked tasty. Definately would be a nice cosy place in the winter. We were there on a warm spring day so with the doors open and it was very relaxing and we didnt want to leave!
We went for a lazy drink on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We hadn't been there before and thought we'd suss it out. We sat in the front bar for the first drink and noticed people walking around the back so we got curious and to our delight, there was an awesome beer garden with a nice flatscreen tv, pool table and lots of tables and chairs to choose from in the shade and sun. It was so relaxing. Definately want to check it out on a Friday and Saturday night
Every time I go there the bartenders are moody and sulky. I think it is also in need of a reno. The asian man that does the massages is very entertaining. The beer garden is very popular all year round
Maybe I didnt enjoy the place because it was the night of the last day of the Spring Racing Carnival, but it was full of rude, drunk 18 year olds. Two toilets only for the girls which is ridiculous for the amount of people the venue can hold. Service was slow, drinks a little pricey and the lighting could be turned up a touch so we can see where we're going!
