Great steaks. Best in town. Tender, full of flavour and very large servings. Service left a lot to be desired. We booked a table for 8 people yet still had to wait 30 mins to be seated and another hour after the order was finally taken for the food. Not sure if I would return or could recommend this place unless the service improved greatly.
Fine Dining. If you don't mind paying top dollar for the linen tablecloth and fine china and glassware then this place will not disappoint and is well worth looking for. Staff very friendly and carefully explained the entire menu, if required. Extensive wine list and knowledge too. Seafood fresh and cooked to perfection. A special place for that special occasion.
This is definitely a WOW place. Try the Lamb and Rosemary Pie here and you will want to return again and again. Large range of beer on tap. Friendly service and reasonably priced. My overseas visitors loved it so much we went twice in one week! This is a great pub for a quick, delicious meal at the top end of the CBD.
Perhaps we went on the wrong night as this place was highly recommended. The night we went (during the recent Air Show) all the lights were apparently broken as we had to use the light from our mobile phones to see enough to read the menu. Menu was extensive and food plentiful and delicious once it finally arrived. Waited nearly 60 mins after ordering at the bar for it to be ready. If its service you are after then this is not the place.
Was on Phillip Island to play tourist (penguins, Churchill Island, etc) and decided on a quick meal between attractions and thought this sounded about right. How wrong we were. Give this place a big miss. Close it down or teach the cook about adding spice and flavour to his cooking. Bland is the only way to describe the nachos we had. Boiled meat + the plainest chips possible + no name cheddar cheese + tin tomatoes. AWFUL. Plenty of it for the price but tasteless.
Recommended to me as a good place to take an overseas visitor for a meal after a long day at the recent Air Show and was not disappointed. Staff friendly and informative, meal superb. Only had the entree size but it was more than enough. Definitely will be returning soon.
The sign out front says "we listen, we care" to that I say NO WAY. Not one of their doctors speaks enough english to communicate in that language. Went there as they bulk bill. Whether its because I am not a small person but all I got was "we must test cholesterol / blood sugar you go take blood come back" In the meantime something is causing the bones in my shin to dissolve making it very painful to walk but hey as long as I am not diabetic thats ok - apparently.
Service is what these guys pride themselves on. Try to visit when Steve is working his knowledge of everything on shelves is amazing. Seems to know exactly what to recommend to suit my taste every time I go. Prices are very reasonable and wide selection available to hire whether be overnight, 3 day hire or even the golden oldies now religated to the weekly shelf
I have been going here for about 10 years for my annual Tax Return. Satisfied with work done and have received a return every year. Has a high turnover of counter staff / receptionist - never the same one twice.
Approximate cost: $100 for standard return
Run of the mill noodle take away shop. Reasonably priced. Everything is freshly made with all fresh ingredients. Vegetable soup wonderful on a cold winters day. Service a little poor as English not first language so it can be hard to make an alteration to set menu.
