We tried this place based on reviews and I have to say we were very disappointed. Everything was dumped into one box which made everything soggy and wet, including the banana fritter, which went in the bin. The grilled fish was covered in soggy batter & fell apart. The chips were ok, but no better than any other F&C shop. The service and price were ok, but I wouldn't go back.

I had a pair of Merrells which I had purchased here, that fell apart within 3 months. I took them back with no fuss & a genuine apology, and within about a week I had a brand new pair ready for me to collect. I didn't think real customer service existed anymore! I would definately shop there again.

I recently took my partner to Scorched for our 2 year anniversery dinner and could not be happier with the night we had. They have quite a small menu, but it has a great variety and the quality definately makes up for it. They are locaed on Torquays front beach road (the esplanade), so you can see the water during the day. It has a modern & warm fell to the place and the staff are very friendly and professional. (they were very good at judging if you were up for a chat or wanted to be left to yourself) The coffee is amazing & the fitout in the bathrooms is pretty impressive too.

I am usually looking to buy flowers on the way home from work or when i am heading out to a dinner or function etc.. This is one of the only places that i have found that is open after hours !!!! (smart)
They are open from about 7am to 8pm Mon-Fri (im not sure of their weekend hours)
They do great arrangements, wrapped really nicely. The flowers are fresh and there is lots of variety for quite a little shop. They also have a handfull of other items like chocolates, cards etc... The staff are very friendly and service is pretty quick.
i now will drive out of my way to go here because 1. i know they will be open and 2. the flowers and service is always good.

Only been a few times since they re-opened, but they seem to be much better than they were. They have lots of stuff and a great deli and fruit n veg section.
You can also park and enter at the rear.

I alway had my photos printed there when i still used film, and they were always efficient and great quality. They also have a range of camera, frames etc....
