The service was the worst I've ever experienced....well, it was pretty bad anyway. In addition, their manners were pretty poor as they seemed less than interested in our concerns about how long the meal had taken to be brought out (over an hour) - and it really wasn't that busy. We were there for my 97 year old grandmother's birthday and by the time they brought out the food, she was over it and no longer wanted to eat. It was most frustrating as she usually loves going out for lunch. Food was okay but nothing to write home about. Overall, a disappointing experience.

We were married on Saturday 7 February 2009 - the hottest Melbourne day ever. We had the most fabulous time and LSV playd a large part in the success of our day. We were planning a beachside ceremony but at the last minute, decided it was too hot to subject our guests to that weather. Despite the last minute change of plans (literally an hour before the ceremony), nothing was too much trouble. We moved the ceremony from outside too inside and it all went very smoothly. The view was amazing (for both the ceremony and the receptin. The food and wine was beautiful. The staff were lovely and Simon and Erin (who looked afer us all evening) could not have done any more for us. For a relaxed beach wedding in a beautiful venue, we would highly recommend Life Saving Victoria. We absolutely loved it. Thanks!!!

On the weekend (24/5/08) we had our engagement party upstairs in the function room at the Prahran Hotel. It was a great room (or more to the point, collection of rooms) - it has recently been renovated in tasteful art deco style. There are 5 different rooms (but you can close some off) which are all linked with big entrances so they don't feel closed off or separated. There are a lot of couches and places for people to sit but still it felt like one big group/party. They decorated the room with candles and tealights without us even asking. We plugged our laptop into their sound system and had music all night. The finger food was great and the staff were fantastic. It was a very easy party to organise and everything went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend it.
