This review is for Tin Thai Restaurant, Kingsgrove NSW

verified email - 30 Nov 2016

My friends had suggested that I visit Tin Thai because the food was really good, so I went there with my family to check it out. Tin Thai is a small restaurant on the main road in Kingsgrove, the menu is pretty diverse. I opted for the chicken chilli basil noodle stir fry, I found the flavours to be quite delicious and authentically Thai, the use of a lot of fresh vegetables was a plus. The price for the food was really reasonable, with lunch specials for $8.50. The servings are also quite big too, you could easily share a dish. The restaurant only has a few tables and when I went there, they were already full capacity. The service was nice and efficient.

This review is for Lilong by Taste of Shanghai, Hurstville NSW

Lilong by Taste of Shanghai is the sister restaurant of Taste of Shanghai and is located in the new rooftop dining area of Westfield Hurstville. Lilong by Taste of Shanghai sells the usual dumplings, noodles, rice dishes and stir fries. I really liked the dumplings, in particular the Xiao Long Bao, they were juicy and generously portioned with meat inside. The salt and pepper pork ribs that we ordered were crunchy and nicely seasoned. My favourite was the pan fried pork buns. I really liked the ambience of the restaurant and the great thing was that it was not too busy and they accommodate lots of diners. Service is friendly and very polite.

I have been going to Mickey's café for years and it is a really great place for breakfast, I especially love sitting in the outdoor area. The best thing about the café is the prices are quite reasonable. My favourite food item is the New Orleans sampler, lamb ribs and chicken and more... yum! Service is fantastic and friendly.

This review is for Cuckoo Callay, Newtown NSW

Cuckoo Callay is a fantastic cafe in Newtown in which the speciality is bacon and I can tell you this cafe is like heaven. I ordered the Mac daddy which was a croissant filled with bacon, Mac and cheese, 63 degree egg, tomato relish and fried shallots and it was so delicious. They also have a very extensive menu with lots of other stuff on offer, such as the MAC Cosmechips which is bacon Mac no cheese on chips. The service is also lovely and hospitable. They also have a kids menu. Parking best at the rear car park on Thomas Street.

This review is for Smiley Chicken, Penrith NSW

I was pleasantly surprised to find this place in Penrith, I did not notice it, until a friend told me about it. I tried the charcoal chicken and chips from there and it tasted so good, probably the best that I have eaten in the area. The chicken was tender and the chips were so crispy and nicely seasoned. They also make burgers too which I hear are nice too. Service is lovely too,

This review is for Thai Street, Blaxland NSW

Thai Street is a pretty decent Thai restaurant in the area and probably the most authentic. The restaurant is quite cute with their Thai decorations and is small which is expected in this area. The restaurant has really good stir fry, my favourite there is the chicken pad thai. I also like their beef Thai fried rice from there. The service is friendly and polite. Prices are quite reasonable too.

This review is for Blaq Piq, Sydney NSW

I went to Blaq Piq after I heard so many good reviews. The café is situated in a secluded area, blink and you may miss it. The café sells a variety of pastries, drinks and food. When I was there I tried the matcha latte which was quite nice and I ordered the scrambled eggs with muffin and that was nice too. My friends liked what they ordered too. The service was very polite and hospitable.

This review is for Bite Drink Chew, Sydney NSW

verified email - 24 Oct 2016

Bite Drink Chew is a new Korean-American fusion restaurant in Sydney, they sell food such as Korean fried chicken, pasta, spaghetti and ribs etc. When I ate there it was no one else there. My friend and I ordered the half serving of fried chicken and chips, the special angry fries weren't ready yet. The fried chicken was alright, just kind of bland, the chips had a nice seasoning though. Some of the fried chicken was also not cooked properly, which was disappointing. The music was also VERY loud that we could not hear each other, it was so loud that I had to ask them to turn it down. Service was decent, however not very attentive.

This review is for Orangeville Meat Company, Gregory Hills NSW

verified email - 23 Oct 2016

I love Orangeville Meat Co, not only do they make great burgers, they also sell great meats. The burgers vary from week to week, but every time I've eaten there, it has always been good. The burgers are generous in size and mighty in taste. They also make great milkshakes, one time they had a red velvet one and it was superb. They also sell cakes and make single origin coffee.
With the butcher, they sell amazing meat, for example their wagyu burger patties, they are fantastic. The pulled lamb pie is also great. Service is fantastic.

This review is for Grumpy Donuts, Camperdown NSW

verified email - 23 Oct 2016

Grumpy Donuts are the best donuts in Sydney and I say this because I've tried a lot of donuts. Grumpy Donuts used to do only delivery or sell them from cafes and finally they have their own shop. Grumpy Donuts are so fresh and delicious, the flavours are amazing, my favourite are the buttered brioche and the chocolate s'mores. Totally recommend a visit.
