The restaurant is down in the basement from street level, and during busy lunch time, you can expect about 5 lines all the way up to the stairs.

You order, pay and stand on the side until your order is up and number is called. Then proceed to your table which can be hard to find sometimes cos it is so busy.

I love their char kway teow with seafood costs around $12. It was done just the right way, right portion and very delish! don't forget the extra sambal with no extra cost

To think about it, that is the only dish I always order when I visit Ipoh...with iced milk tea. YUM!!

Definitely will go back and recommend it

Cantonese food - loved the beef brisket in the clay pot with rice. The rice is nice, crunchy and goes well with saucy beef brisket.

They have set meal deals for 2person, 4 person, to 8-10 person. Price is very reasonable.

Each meals come with dinner soup :) and meal deals come with steamed vegies w/ oyster sauce.

Pretty good for casual dining in Eastwood.

Customer service is just what you expect at a Chinese casual restaurant.

This Asian supermarket is just a few minutes walk from my office and located inside World Square shopping centre, right next to Coles supermarket.

It is an Asian supermarket which provides different varieties of products from fresh vegetables, meat to Asian snacks (different types of chocolates, cookies, crackers, you name it) from Japan, China, Indonesia, Korea, plenty of products to choose from.

They are open until very late as well, customer service is very average as you can expect from a typical Asian supermarket.

We visit this restaurant at least once a month and it is a very nice Chinese restaurant in the area.

On Sunday when we visited we ordered the shredded beef as part of the Chef's recommendation and chose fresh barramundi $29.80 each and to be steamed with ginger and shallots. The wait staff brought the fresh fish out in a bucket to show us how fresh it was from the fish tank which is the norm when eating out in a Chinese restaurant like this. The beef was not dried out and you could actually taste the beef inside the battered and sauce was very nice but I found it a bit too strong and had to have it with rice. Steamed barramundi was nicely done and no complains.

Service had always been average – no fuss, in and out and always try to accommodate your requests.

Other favourite dishes we have here is the Snow Crab which is very light dish with egg and crab meat. Shandong chicken always good and not dried, with enough sauce. Love the peking style pork ribs, succulent with lots of tender meat. Had the Peking duck 2 course meals a few times, found it absolutely beautiful. Once we had the duck meat stir fried with homemade noodles which I highly recommend.

Definitely one of the restaurants we visit regularly in Eastwood

I was looking for cookies and cream cheesecake for my birthday and not many places have this. So my sister recommended The Pie Tin at Newtown where she had been before for their savoury pies and they are excellent.

So, we ordered a Oreo Pie for $49 (approx. 14-16 pieces - medium to large size I would say) and not regretting a thing. LOVED EVERY SINGLE BITE OF IT!!!! Now I want more :D~~

The Oreo Pie was made onsite - behind the café counter, the pie itself had so many layers of oreo cookies with some sort of white cream cheese thing (sorry, really don't know what the white thing is lol). Presented very well in a box. First bite, I thought I was in heaven - it was that good....creamy, cookies crumble, fresh, you would have to try it :)

Enough about the actual pie itself, when I went to pick it up, there was a big deep pan apple pie which looked very delicious as well.

They have savoury pies, like chicken carbonara with bacon and mushrooms, korma styles vegies curry pies, duck pie, venison.

Here is the link to their menu http://www.thepietin.com.au/menu/pietin_menu.pdf

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE :) :)

I just want to come here to say Nicola Bell was very friendly, patient, accommodating and have great customer service.

I visited FC in Eastwood with my husband to make flight bookings for my mother in law. Nicola was nothing but very helpful. We also had to work with one of our family friends in Brisbane and go back and forth with the information that we had/needed.

Price was very reasonable :) and happy with Nicola's service.

I have been using this florist for arrange flowers for guests who stayed at a 5* hotel in Sydney CBD for the past few years.

They have a stand right next to the steps down to the food court Myers Pitt St mall (next to Nine West) and if you walk past their stand and turn right, you will see another florist there (main shop) next to Pandora on the walkway leading to Mid City shopping centre.

Lisa and Kit are always very friendly, whether on the phone when I placed orders or face-to-face when I picked up the flowers.

They have arranged rose petals for a handful about $20 which comes in a white box to be scattered in the hotel rooms. Colours range from pink, red to white roses.

The cost is very reasonable and very accommodating in creating something that are not already in display.

Definitely highly recommend them as they have the best value in my opinion in Sydney CBD.

The first time I noticed the fresh flower arrangements done by Best Buds was when I was working at a 5* star hotel in Sydney CBD. They delivered the flowers weekly and they were always modern, fresh and exquisite arrangements. Due to the cost the hotel stopped using Best Buds but that did not stop me from using them for my own wedding!!

I contacted Anna (the owner) who was very friendly and accommodating. I mentioned I worked for the hotel and she was very generous and kind enough to give me small discount. It cost about $1000 for my wedding day flowers, the bride bouquet was around $300-$400, with 3 bridesmaids bouquet, corsages and boutonnieres and about 10 table centre pieces. I had an outdoor wedding which did not require additional flowers.

When I had the meeting with Anna - we used the other shop mentioned in Bas69's review. It is a smaller shop but it was nicely decorated with wedding accessories etc. Anna helped me through to get my favourite colours and flowers. Everything turned out as I have expected and they were beautiful. I loved all the flowers for my wedding day, Anna and her team had done a great job!

Highly recommend Best Buds and only if this florist is near my work or home!!!

Yeon Art has been around for the past almost 4 years and the owner/main hairdresser's name is Yeon.

I usually get my hair cut done here once a year maybe, they have a lot of magazines for hairstyles ideas - mostly Japanese/Korean or Asian hairstyles. I usually bring my own styles that I want to get done. Satisfactory with haircuts here, no complains and the cost is around $30? (it has been a while since a haircut)

I have had hair treatments done here prior to my wedding, it was just to make my hair looks nicer and healthier. The treatment costs $50 each session and I did 3 sessions in 3 months. At the end of it, I had some residue build up on my hair which I could not wash out. I had to purchase a special detox shampoo to get rid of the sticky uncleaned hair feel. After a research I found out it was due to too much of treatment or products build up.

Last year I went there to get half of my hair dyed in Lavender, came prepared with research and photo. Yeon quoted me $120 and hair needed to be bleached (I have black hair) to get the colour I wanted. At the end, the colour turns to red rather than the lavender I wanted. I was on one month holiday and the only time I could dyed my hair Lavender and was willing to bleach my hair. It was so disappointing that she could not get the right colour for me.

This year, I went to get my hair digitally perm (Korean/Japanese digital perm) and it costs $80 for a shoulder length hair. For the same service, at hairdresser in Sydney CBD, I was quoted $150. I am happy with the result.

Yeon is always friendly and service is good. You can make appointments with her and she takes a lot of walk-ins as well. Usually there are two to three staff working at the same time. They are closed on Mondays and they also have a loyalty program which was really good. You get credit to use there the more you spend. I stopped using it cos I didn't want to bring the card with me lol.

I would definitely go back to Yeon for simple services and cost is very reasonable.

Yummy Buns sells buns, cold Asian salads and small snacks with a front counter. You can also see the kitchen or the bakery side at the back with full view.

I have tried their fried red bean balls (cin toi), the glutinous rice dumpling with some chicken inside (VERY YUMMY) and soft rice glutinous dumpling with peanuts, red beans and other fillings --> similar to japanese mochi.

They are great snacks and you can also order the buns for main meal deals which comes with drinks or salad with two buns.

My family and I love their snacks, so why not try them if you havent! :)
