Consistently good meals, with excellent steaks cooked to perfection. Comfortable low-lit ambience and attentive staff. Certainly amongst the best dining experiences on offer in Ballarat.

Fantastic value, specially the 3 large pizzas for $20 deal - we end up going for that every week! Love their Aussie, Chicken Hawaiian and Don Special. Generous toppings and friendly staff. Awesome hours for nightowls too - open till 5am Friday & Saturday nights.
Their stir fries and rice dishes are OK, but nothing to get excited over. The main flavour seemed to be soy sauce in each of the dishes we ordered, which was a bit disappointing. It was one of the better meals we had in Torquay though, which doesn't say very much for the state of eating out in Torqay.
Although they only sell spring rolls (huge), chinese dim sims and varieties of fried rice, the do an excellent job of them. We often stop in there to pick up some dimmies & spring rolls for our entres before grabbing our mains elsewhere.
Great atmosphere with reproductions of Da Vinci's drawings on the walls. The gnocchi with scallops is always excellent and they have a great selection of gelato, which you can have as a table dessert or takeaway.
Probably THE best steak I've ever had in Ballarat - tender and cooked perfectly, rare as requested. Veggies were pretty good, could have done with a little more & the rosti was a bit overcooked, but hey, the steak was so awesome who cares?
Generous servings, tasty quesadillas. Food standard can be a bit inconsistent but never bad. If you really love hot food, the habanero sauce is the hottest thing you will get in Ballarat. Best margharitas EVER!

A little pricey for the quality - the price has been sneaking up over the years. We still end up here when we want Chinese though as the food is fairly consistent, even if not the best possible. The Nasi Goreng has been too salty since the original owner sold the business a year or two ago. Pity, as this was one of our faves. It is now bordering on too salty to eat, but we did anyway. Sweet and Sour Pork is satisfactory and the Beef and Oyster Sauce is good. Staff are always helpful and friendly. They are open late too and stick to their advertised hours.

Large, tasty real chicken breast parmas with excellent chips & a good selection of veggies. The steaks are good quality too on Steak Night. Service was really friendly from all staff members. Tables have a comfortable distance between them, which is becoming rare these days.
Very disappointing experience. Smallest main meal we've ever ordered and we ordered the large option! Left hungry. Scallops and prawns were overcooked. After reading reviews saying the meal sizes were large, the last thing we expected was to leave hungry. Considering the prawn & scallop burrito was $27.30, it's outrageous that they serve up such a measly dish, not to mention they also overcooked the seafood and it was dried out and rubbery. Such a pity as the atmosphere of the place itself was really nice and we would have become regulars if we hadn't felt so totally cheated. I really don't know what people are talking about when they claim the serving sizes are generous, they are anything but.
