Despite the name ' Little mermaid', this little shop sells more than just fish and chips. I went shopping with my Mum and she convinced me to eat here (as I usually go to subway or maccas when in food courts). So glad she did, they had AMAZING lasagne! IT was a huge huge serve and we got yummy chips and salad and it was a great price. Will definitely go back here!

The kids and even hubby and I love the wheel of Brisbane. Enter your own air conditioned gondola, sit down and get ready for amazing 360 degree views of Brissy. Don't forget your camera! A little on the expensive side, we try to find two for one deals :)

A nice little zoo, we took our 2 year old here for his birthday and he enjoyed it. We also liked the drive on the way there, lovely scenery. The owners are lovely. The white lions are Amazing and hubby got so many great shots of them. Takes maybe 30 minutes around the whole zoo :)

This zoo is amazing and has to be one of our families favourites! It is a huge huge zoo and I highly recommend going to the safari part at the start of the day before the heat gets too much in the afternoon. LOVE the elephants and feeding them! So many shows and of course the croc shows = amazing. Fairly expensive but they put it back into the zoo so I don't mind paying the $$

Hubby and I have been here for lunch and the staff were friendly . Love hogs breath but this is one of my favourites, wasn't too packed at lunch and was good to have time out with hubby.

Raji does an absolutely amazing fantastic job! At only $10 for eyebrow threading she is seriously amazing! Gives me a fantastic shape EVERYTIME, she really cares and does a great job. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great Aussie Pub! I have been here a few times and every time the steak, salad and chips under $20 is just delicious. Such a fun pub and lots to look at whilst inside.

One of the first places I ever won a meat raffle! Fond memories lol. Great great food, steak cooked to perfection. Only downer is it can be a bit expensive. Nice small club, staff are friendly and everyone has pulled together to keep this place going after the floods and I even remember they had community to pitch in when there was another threat of flooding a second time thank goodness it didn't!

When I lived in Caboolture, this was a great place to dine at with good meals. Back then I used to go on the poker machines every now and then and the are was always clean and tidy. Seen lots of entertainment here, the room is a good size and they have a wide range of things on. Good place :)

Love the set up of this place! With a bar in the middle and four corners each with something different to do. You have a nightclub, pokies, pool and entertainment and a restaurant / wedding venue. Huge bar in the middle. I have had great lunches and dinners here, also enjoyed the nightlife and even been to a wedding held in one of the rooms. GREAT Place!
