I can't pronounce the name of this restaurant, but it is a good place to go in suburban Kenmore for some pretty unique renditions of Indian dishes that so often are run-of-the-mill. The place is old school - carpets are original, but that adds some charm. We had a lamb saag, which although was not on the menu was a good effort. The butter chicken was smashed by the children, always a good sign. Will go back here - it's this sort of place that will go under if people judge books by their covers.

In tough times for us, all of the staff at Indooroopilly Vet Clinic have been remarkable. We've been there three times in the last two months and their service and care for our cats have been faultless. Honest, realistic appraisals and explanations of the conditions of our two ageing cats have been provided. They're compassionate - from the front desk through to the vets themselves. Prices are very reasonable considering their inner-West location and what they've provided to us. Won't go anywhere else.
The horrendous tag certainly fits this cafe / restaurant, that on first appearances seemed good to go for a short coffee stop with the family. The service was dismissive - the coffee was ordinary and the lack of strawberry milkshakes was bemusing. Will not return.
Well after the other place down the road (see other review) failed to appear to care about our business, we went for a short stroll and found Honour Espresso. The service was warm and they genuinely put in effort to make our experience memorable (albeit a short coffee stop!!!). Very child friendly - will be back with our two little'uns!
This place is rated highly and first appearances were very good. We experienced some wonderful service and great atmosphere (the latter should be a give for the Valley on a Saturday night). The menu is extensive enough - some really unique looking items to choose from - we went for the a starter that was beautiful - fetta filled pastry with herbs - I could have eaten 10 of those they were so good. Then for the mains we had lamb backstrap and the kebabs. The backstrap was $35 - the most expensive item on the menu, but worth it. Really well spiced and some inventive sides to go with it. The kebabs were a little disappointing - for $29, you get two kebabs and a bowl of saffron rice with some condiments - for the signature dish, it wasn't the greatest meal I've had. We didn't go for desserts... but this list appeared okay. We'll go again, but after we've tried out some of Zafron's competitors.

We only got takeaway from these guys, but I picked it up and to say that the ambience and aromas of the restaurant were impressive is an understatement - I am already looking forward to eating there... the penang curry and the basil beef stirfry that we had were fantastic, the starters (satay chicken and thai fish cakes) were probably the highlight though. It was all good though and is highly recommended. Prices were very reasonable.
Okay, picture this: trying to find a feed on a Thursday night in the Northern Beaches beyond 9pm.... we stumbled across Burgers on Parade just as they were closing up and all other restaurants we'd been to claimed that their kitchen's had shut down for the night (we were in respectable clothing!). The manager opened up for us and made us some great burgers - with care and attention but speedy. Great service - went beyond the call of duty for a Thursday night and a great feed, importantly. Highly recommended.
Wonderful lunch had here just before a wedding that we went to recently. Staff were exceptional and certainly made the ambience of the place relaxed (just like the area!). Great food - very fresh produce and great coffee.
Amongst other Canberra hotels, Aria is a breath of fresh air - the service was outstanding and accommodating and it is a new hotel - less than two years old I believe. We had a one bedroom apartment which was very comfortable. The kitchen/laundry is well laid out, fantastic new appliances. The standout however was the bathroom - the shower was very impressive. Great experience overall - everything worked, the place felt warm and we had great views of Dickson and the Northern suburbs from the balcony.
I don't give a score like this lightly - and if there were six stars for each category, they'd push for this also. Simply a great experience on Tuesday night, even though it was only us and one other lady in the restaurant. Marvin was an exceptional host, explaining everything - the origins of the food, the slight differences between Lebanese, Turkish and Greek meals that made up the Banquet (which is highly recommended). It is the fact that the food didn't need extravagant sauces or cream to be brilliant - there was flavour within the meat, the starters and the desserts. Hard to explain - certainly a unique (and great) experience for us - a satisfying experience.
