The view is lovely overlooking the beach and ocean with no road in-between. The ordering process was a little awkward being from a window where the waitress is looking down on you kind of like a van vendor at a festival rather than a normal counter. The meal was lovely but took a long time to come out. These guys also hire out water-sports equipment which is handy. As far as I know, they serve breakfast, m'tea, lunck & a'tea.

Music playing, hive of activity and upbeat fun on Friday & Saturday night. It is a pub that has more of a tavern come restaurant feel. Food is absolutely delicious, good value for money and comes out quickly. Great if you feel like lots of energy and activity - not the right place on a Friday or Saturday night if you're looking for a quiet night out but through the week and through the day it's okay. At time of writing they have a dine free on your birthday deal if you're dining with another full paying customer. I'm not real big on pubs but I can't fault this place.

A quality experience right up there with any of the big name cinemas. Appropriate food options, clean cinemas, comfortable seating, clean toilets and friendly helpful staff. Ticket prices are reasonable but the food is quite expensive eg. Popcorn, softdrinks, lollies, chocolates etc. The new cafe serves delicious light snacks and is a welcome addition if you want to have a meal before or after your movie.

Make sure you arrive before sunset if possible as you can catch a beautiful sunset over the ocean at Gatakers which is very rare for the east coast. There never seems to be many people there when we go,, and it is like they expect this as there is usually only a handful of tables made up. The meals are delicious, well prices, and brought out in a timely manner. The lady who served us and delivered our meals smelt like cigarette smoke which was a bit off-putting.

Absolutely delicious coffee, frappe's, iced coffee etc. The also have desserts & lunch like quiche & filo's etc but I haven't had these. Located in the Woolworths complex off Torquay Rd so nice to pop in and get a treat before or after shopping. The staff can be a little hit and miss with their friendliness and helpfulness though. Take note of the drink sizes as "Tall" is actually a "Medium" with other (language?) names for Large and Extra Large.

The atmosphere is always really nice. On the esplanade with glass windows so you can sit and watch the world go by. Most of the staff are very friendly. There is one staff member who seems to be a manager of sorts - a tall clean cut man - who always seems quite stern and not welcoming at all which is quite off-putting. The meals are delicious and well cooked, but quite expensive for what you receive.

These are the sweetest friendliest people I have ever had the pleasure to do business with and great prices too. We had recently moved and had not brought our lounge suite with us so we went in to buy a new lounge. They had to order it in which would take 4 days (over the weekend) which we were okay with but when they found out that we would be without a lounge they insisted on providing us with a courtesy (borrowed) lounge which they delivered free! Then, after taking some measurements, we realised that the (corner) lounge we had ordered would not fit in our space, so we asked if we could change to another (3 piece) lounge instead. It made us feel that it was no trouble at all changed the order. Next time we need an item of furniture or electrical item, we will definitely be returning to Con Souvlis in Torquay even though we have furniture & electrical shops that are in closer proximity to us.
