My kids for some reason love this store i think it may have something to do with sponge bob square pants!! The food ok as you would expect. I think it is a little over priced for what you get and the resturants interior is in my opinion rather outdated but the kids love going there and sitting in so its a nice treat for them and atleast the money stays local instead of going to a fast food joint like mcdonalds.
This is a fantastic not for profit group that offers free hearing tests and assesments for people with hearing problems and difficulties that are over the age of 26.
I recently accompanied my brother to an appointment here as he suffered a truma that has left him with issues with his hearing. The staff were so friendly, caring, comforting and supportive. I would recommend anyone who is having any issues with there hearing to pop in and see the girls on the front desk to see what they can do for you.
I love this shop its a little treasure trove for cooks like me. They have really great funky gadgets and lots of good qaulity cookware. I've been looking for a sieve cup where you press the handle and it sieves the flour for you as a often have trouble with icing suger and getting it to sieve in a normal sieve. I managed to find one here and the women who served me was ever so helpful. The prices are a little higher then what you would find in the likes of big w but there products are real quality that will most likely last a lifetime and as the previous commenter said you do get what you pay for!
A really nice shop to look around. I have bought a lovely jumper from there this winter and ive actually worn it quite a lot to work and its stood up really well even though its been washed lots! The prices are fair and the clothes are really good quality.
I pop up to blackwood once a week to catch up with my girl friends for a chat and a nice coffee somewhere. I have to say that the gourmet on main is up there as one of my favorites in blackwood. They have lovely yummy fresh local produce for sale. The staff know what there talking about and are really friendly and welcoming and the coffees are tastey and its a great place to meet and catch up with friends! Lovely place.
I love a good sushi roll, i was very intrigued by there menu as they had some rolls i had never seen before such as the pumpkin rolls! They were really yummy and i love there salmon and avocardo rolls too. There all very fresh tasting and the fish is preped well thankfully no small bones left in the fish here! Great store well priced and i find 2 rolls for adults is very filling and the kids only eat one and there full so a very cheap meal out :)
A great florist. They have some spectacular arrangements in the window and instore. I like to buy fresh flowers for our house once a week they look great and really brighten up the room. The arrangements here were very reasonable and lasted near on two weeks which i was very impressed with.
Really fresh, well made, quality food here. We were served with a smile and just fell in love with the food it was sooo tastey and a real change from the normal processed burgers many places sell. Highly recommended for a yummy well made meal. worth every cent!!
A lovely jewellery and giftstore. I really do love coming to blackwood and wandering around all the lovely giftstores they have. Limited editions has a great range of pretty things and i have bought quite a few gifts and christmas presants from here that have been well recived.
A great friendly welcoming church. Its very big and there is a lot of singing and dancing with a live band. The sermans are good and often have a modern take on them. They also have a coffee cart and sell hot food at very cheap prices. The kids church is fantastic my kids cant wait to go each week. They also have services on a friday night as well as two on a sunday. They also often have guest speakers coming to the church and recently had a world renowned trumpet player at the church.
