After visiting my hairdresser next door to the Fish Man, I chose some fresh butterfish for our dinner. It made a pleasant meal. Christmas seafood available here too.
The best fish and chips in Hahndorf! I often pick some up when I am on my way to a friends place nearby. My fish is always perfect and I have to say the same about my chips, although I do ask for them to be well done because I like a bit of crunch. Service is usually quick but on a very busy day you will have to be willing to wait.
Great place for a quick take away meal, the food is always tasty and fresh, very good choice of food and always of a high quality.
Good chips! Especially in the AB format. Not everyone does a good AB, but this place has a nice rendition of it.
We didn't think they could improve on their delicious fish and chips, but oh they have, so crisp and so fresh, I believe they are the best fish and chips in SA. My girlfriend and I are regulars here, a great location and the staff are always friendly and so quick with our order even when they are extremely busy.
Popped in here for some coorong mullet and found it was on special at around 20 dollars kilogramme. A reasonable range of fresh fish only but at good prices. Cost under $5 for a meal for two so will make up for my other purchase nearby. They are to be found behind the Foodland Shop.

Bought fresh calamari tubes for our dinner this evening. Great range of fresh fish here (no chips) and good customer service. Nice not needing to visit the Glen Osmond area sometimes.
They do good chips.
I mean how could you go past 2 butterfish, chips and tartare for $12. That's very good value. Most places charge upwards $20

The light white flakes that fall out when you bite in through the crunchy batter. Accompanied by the big fluffy chips with the delectable chicken salt lightly sprinkled.
Yup. This place does some nice food :)
