I needed some kiln dried hardwood for a door jamb. I rang Peters Timber & Hardware and they confirmed the could machine the size that I was looking for. When I got there they used their nifty machine and quickly supplied me with exactly what I needed to the millimetre, and for the agreed price. This was super helpful and great service. I will use these guys again for sure!
Went to lunch at Terra Rossa. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice. Had sirloin on the express lunch menu, and was it very tasty. Only one disappointment (not major), some of our party wanted to order coke, & only pepsi was available.
Had 4 new Goodyear tyres supplied & fitted by Chapel Corner Tyres. I also requested stick on tyre weights instead of the usual type. They accommodated this and did an excellent job. The place is not large, so cars needed to be moved around, which extended the time taken a bit. Overall very happy.
Our daughter loves her swimming lessons at Starfish. The teachers are encouraging, patient & firm at the same time. The lessons are suitable for her abilities. Very very happy with Starfish and would recommend.
We got decorations & supplies for kids birthday party. Very happy with our visit to Party Bazaar - we got what we needed & prices are excellent. Mookey is very helpful, knows the products and has a wide variety of stock. Will definitely shop here again!
We had a great dinner at Rossini. It is kid friendly and the pizza & pasta were excellent. They have good old fashioned service, feels like a family business that has been there a long time. It gets very busy, so we always book ahead.
We had lunch at Hu Tong. The service was good, abrupt at times, but we were served quickly. Good selection of dumplings including some (not many) vegetarian options. Bookings essential as they get really busy and full!
Kellee did our wedding bouquets (for bride & bridesmaids). We were very happy with the flowers. Also, she personally delivered the flowers which we really appreciated. She is very easy to deal with, takes price in her work. We would recommend her services!
We had a floating floor installed by Dandy Flooring. Some difficulties arose during the installation due to issues with the sub floor. The installers did their best to get it completed, and got it done. However, in one area the floor now has excess movement because the pieces of flooring were cut too short (some shorter than others, ie. not consistent in length), leaving larger than required gaps. I spoke to the proprietor and offered to provide photos or have them come out to inspect. They refused on both counts. I also showed the installer the problem, but he refused to fix the issue. As a result, gaps open up over time between the skirting board and the flooring. We then have to kick the flooring back under the skirting board every time it moves out of position. What really bothers me is that I have tried to contact them since, but they will not even return my calls to discuss this. The product we selected is of good quality and we like the floor, just not parts of the experience.
I love shopping at Your Pharmacy Caulfield Park, they offer excellent pricing, great advice and the shop is warm & welcoming. I asked for advice about antibiotics and they were very honest about what I could expect in taking them, despite how it affected the sale. Very happy overall experience.
