Food was awesome, very tasty. It's actually half japanese half korean bbq. It was a bit pricey but well worth it, I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be going back again. From the street it looks a bit iffy but when you go upstairs it's a lovely restaurant with a great decor.

Food is expectional always perfect. Service is good. Love it here, I've made this one of my fav restaurants to go to when I wanna catch up with family. I was there last week with my husband, even has Free Wi-Fi...

This place is beautiful! All the staff were lovely, friendly and thoughtful. Food was beautifully healthy, and to top it all off, when our bank cards failed at the end of our meal due to our bank being under service the owners gave us the meal on the house. So thoughtful and nice, will be going back for sure!

The sushi is great, fresh, clean, consistent albeit average in presentation with all those 'lovely' plastic boxes and genuine plastic chiso - but hey - for the price, I'll re-plate it anytime.Beats most of the 'sushi trains' and it's still hand made. Fair service

If you love a real Japanese experience try Mino! Homely Japanese service with relatively good English. The set menu is a must, both represent crazy value, quality for the $. The wine list is very reasonably priced and has a few great options for the food. Only Australian and NZ wine $25 to $35 .

Dinner at Minato consists of wonderful and innovative food, but still with the classic Japanese favourites on offer. Good service too, without being overly attentive. This place is always full and buzzing in the evenings. The decor (and toilets) are probably what lets it down, but somehow doesn't detract from the dining experience.

I've been here several times and always find the food excellent, the staff super friendly and the vibe in general great. Love the all day brekkie. Will be back for more soon!

The food is superb here. They have some really good chefs and have put some thought into the menu. The prices are similar I'd say. The staff are very courteous and helpfully explain your dishes. The front of the restaurant is traditional indoors and there's a courtyard out the back for those who like fresh air (or cigarettes).

this is a quirky Euro/Japanese restaurant with some really 'out there' dishes that would appeal to the diners who are not fond of raw fish and hard core Japanese food.

Pricing is slightly above your average Japanese fare, and for the amount of food you get and with the fact that there is no "wow" factor in taste, I think it is not really worth it. I can't really think of anything that makes me yearn to return
